Sonic Truckers in Forza Trucking's First Public Convoy (June 26th 2020)

We at Sonic are honored to be a part of such a benchmark in Forza Truckings history. On the 26th of June, around 11 of our drivers came to Forza Trucking's first public convoy since their re-opening after more than a year of closure. Everything went smoothly on Sonics end, and the route was quite beautiful as we went from Swansea to Felixstowe through the small roads of the UK. We used the Sonic Renault T-range trucks for the drive. We hope to drive with Forza soon, and more importantly, we hope to maintain good relations and cooperation between our VTCs. Sonic Truckers Truck Show (June 28th 2020)

On the 28th of June, a truck show for sonic drivers was held at a gas station near Hanover. The competition was fierce, with a variety of unique and interesting looking trucks however only one could be chosen as a winner who would win a steam wallet code. That winner for this truck show was Albin- congratulations!

Sonic Truckers' Second Convoy with Allegiant Transport VTC (June 13th 2020)

Sonic Truckers and Allegiant Transport have maintained great relations since the founding of Allegiant VTC. Sonic was the first VTC to formally attend Allegiants opening convoy and ever since then, these VTC's have agreed to have reunion convoys together every once in a while in order to celebrate & encourage friendly relations and cooperations between the two. June 13th was one of those days- on that day, a convoy was done in order to honour the friendship of our two VTC's. This was the first reunion convoy for the VTC's since Allegiants opening convoy. There was around 8 participants on the Sonic side, and 3 participants on the Allegiant side. We at Sonic used our old Mercedes Actros truck. The route driven was 616km, from Hamburg to Nuremburg. The convoy went quite well, and we hope to drive with Allegiant soon again as both our VTC's grow!

Sonic Truckers' Trucksbook Position for June

Sonic Truckers was in 19th place for race miles and had around 300,000km in real miles for the month of June in the world for trucksbook. We do not direct our players to go for real or race miles because we believe that it is about the drive and sharing that experience with fellow drivers rather than grind to compete, so our players have the freedom to choose which category they'd like to go for.

We at Sonic Truckers also have a monthly DLC competition for our drivers based on their distance driven on trucksbook, with the distance on real miles being doubled in order to maintain a sense of fairness between our race and real drivers. The top 3 drivers in terms of distance on trucksbook win a DLC, with the rankings being reset every month. That being said, here our top three drivers for the month of June in order.

Zahinul hoque: [Race 205 976km + (Real 7 213 x 2km)] = 220,402km
MARJAN_CHY: [Race 95 703 km + (Real 42 256 x 2km)] = 180,215km
Night Cruiser: [Race 115 532 km +(Real 115 532 x 2km)] =177,612km

Sonic Truckers' Eid Convoy - We Need Your Help! - A Small Request

To all VTC's participating in this Eid convoy, Sonic Truckers has a request. We are seeking to acquire our own event server for the convoy, but in order to do so, we require 100 confirmed participants on our ets2c page for the convoy. It would be highly appreciated if each participating member of each participating VTC confirm that they will participate via the ets2c link- it would tremendously help with the planning of the event as we'd be able to confirm that we have our own server. Sonic Truckers' June 6th VTC convoy

Many of our drivers are Muslim and participate in Ramadan, so the most of the VTC was on holiday and did not participate in convoys for that month. Last week, our drivers finally grouped up on June 6th for a self-reunion convoy in order to warm up for the future and connect with one another again after a long break. The route was 937km, from Rostock to Bratislava and drivers used the Sonic Mercedes New Actros truck. About 14 of our drivers attended the convoy, with some new faces attending. The convoy went very smoothly, and our drivers continued to exercise proper convoy speeds & discipline. In addition, we even stopped for a small break and took some awesome photos. Sonic Truckers is back, and we're ready to roar like never before- June, here we come!
