As pretty much everyone is aware of now that the VTC Hub has been under construction for some time. Due to issues with VTLog the Devs have mopped up what was left on the hub to make it presentable, over time you may see some things change. With that if you find something that is broken then please let myself know, some are already known so if it is quiet obvious then it's more than likely known.

The competition was pretty straight forward, you submitted a livery that included not all but some of the colours of SR which are Snow White, Jet Black, SR Orange and SR Purple. Once this was done and the submission line was closed on the 25th then it was down to Seanster and Myself (Daveo1996) to pick a winner. This was going well until we noticed that the winner we chose was actually submitted by 2 different people... this stumped us for a moment but moments later we just agreed that we'd honour both and give them each a prize.

The Winners of the Competition are Aditya, commonly known as Fox or Foxo, and Michu, commonly know as the nuisance :D. Both these winners walked away with a €10 Steam Gift Card each and a big Thank You for coming up with some awesome Liveries.

The SRVTC Livery

As some of you are aware from the announcement on Discord, we have finally launched the CC after much debates and delays (#BlameCplJackForNoReason :D). With this step you should see more organised convoys from SR and hopefully all going well it happens on a weekly basis. Management would like to take this time to thank the guys who have applied so far and who have delved right into the role as soon as it came live, we look forward to working with you guys.

Our latest Competition Winner To win this raffle all they had to do was attend the MacMillan Charity convoy and oh boy they done it, alongside 10 other SRVTC members who participated and who they fought against I am glad to say that Ores (Superman785) is the winner.

The Simulator Radio VTC has been quiet for a little while, with our trucks undergoing a fresh coat of paint and the maintenance team hard at work refurbishing them. I’m excited to announce that I’ve stepped into the role of VTC Manager and will be leading us into a brand-new chapter.

My goal is simple: to bring the VTC back to life and transform it into something truly spectacular. I can’t wait to get back on the road alongside all of you as we begin this new era together.

Behind the scenes, I’ve been working closely with the Simulator Radio team to refresh and rebuild the VTC. If all goes to plan, we’ll be rolling again by September 1st. Keep an eye out for updates as we get closer—until then, enjoy the rest of the month and I’ll see you soon out on the road!

Team Updates With August now drawing to a close we would like to remind you all that the CC team is still accepting applicants to join their team, being a part of the CC team is a great opportunity to get in a lime light and get noticed by higher management as a person who gets the Job done. That's not to say the being CC will always get you a cushy job at the top, we are also open to suggestions and we do keep an eye out for those who shine when doing their job to the fullest and are always up for the challenge. Currently the Recruitment team is closed to applications but that doesn't mean you cannot help out, with the current avenues of advertising always being exploited we also request our drivers that if they know someone who is looking for a VTC that doesn't request 40hr work weeks then send them our way and notify a Recruiter of your recommendations, who knows, might even be something in it for you if your hard at it.

Leaderboard News The August leaderboards are moping up quiet nicely with only a few hours left of the day here is how it is spanning out.

Euro Truck Simulator 2

• iEnMiTy is in the lead with 38 Jobs covering 16714km and weighing in at a combined 698T but sadly is losing out with -89,475 Credits.
• Jamie is behind with 10 Jobs covering 15670km and weighing in at a combined 124T with an awesome profit of 18,828 Credits
• Commander Piglet is close behind with 8 Jobs covering 4631lkm which weighs in at a mere 95T giving him a nice profit of 11,147 Credits

American Truck Simulator

• RockerTVOfficial is leading with 11 Jobs covering 2907km and weighing in at a combined 200T which gives him a cosy profit of 7,306 Credits
• Commander Piglet is in second with 4 Jobs covering a mere 1875km and just weighing in at 45T giving him a profit of 4,778 Credits
• Seanster and Myself are tied for 3rd with us both doing 3 Jobs covering 3390km while weighing in at 105T which gives Sean a profit of 6,825 Credits and Myself a profit of 8,118 Credits

A Bit of the Auld History! SRVTC is a Virtual Trucking Company that dates back to not long after Simulator Radio was initially founded under the name of Euro Truck Radio in 2014. At the height of its career SRVTC numbered 200+ drivers spanning the globe with many different branches located in the UK, Poland and all the way to Korea. • Commander Piglet has surpassed over 300 jobs for the VTC so far, clocking up over 230,000 KM at a combined weight of 5,809 Tonnes.
• VirtualTrucker126 is closing in behind with over 290 jobs completed covering over 160,000 KM with a weight of 5,214 Tonnes.

American Truck Simulator

• Commander Piglet has a nice number of over 160 Jobs covering over 106,000 KM along the American West Coast

Let's have a look at our leaderboard For this month, RyanC is taking the leaderboard by storm with a total of 18 jobs, closely followed by Piglet with 12 jobs. Come on Piglet, take back your lead! ServerGhost is not far behind with 8 jobs. For ATS, Aussiegaz is topping the leaderboard with 11 jobs! Overall, however, Piglet is still storming ahead, with 713 jobs logged since joining SRVTC... Rafi59 in second only has 298! Can anybody catch Piglet? I'm 13th, if you were wondering, beating VTC Manager Dave who's only in 16th!! I'm sure you can guess who's travelled the most distance.. Not only have we had a fairly decent rise in numbers over these past few weeks, we have also launched a new competition to change the VTC Livery with the winner gettinga nice €10 Steam Voucher. See the news post about this for more details, or mosey on over to the Discord and have a look there.

Yes this does mean that you may now drive whichever truck sits in your garage with our livery while at public events both in official and unofficial attendance. With this restriction lifted we hope to see some snazzy looking units out on the road sporting the infamous Orange, White and Black whether it be a posh Mercedes Actros, a brutish MAN or even ugh a Renault... jeez that's bad.

We do require you to keep the livery in check, ensuring that it is buffed to a shine and has no scrapes whatever truck you use. The truck you desire to drive should have the strength to not impede others during events, this may include but is not limited to, the ability to successfully climb steep gradients at a reasonable speed, have the power to haul heavy loads (who hauls actual freight during convoys?), etc.
