From the start of September we launched our VTC via trucksbook, for the first month of operating like this our drivers completed 23762km between them. With the release of the job dispatcher from TruckersMP we hope this will help us complete more jobs as a VTC as we can now complete deliveries of the same load together. Going into October we will incorporate this into our weekly drives.

This places our driver of the month for September as Bossie who completed 8054km for the month of September!

Our 600-member convoy has had to be rescheduled from the 24th November to the 30th November. We’ve chosen that date as it’s the next available date from the one we originally chose.

On the 22nd September, we applied for a private event server. Therefore, TruckersMP knew well in advance that we had a major event planned for this date. The forum topic was made well in advance of this, and the first event server request was made on the 22 September 2019. This event server then, rightfully, declined as we didn’t have 100 convoy participants at that time. We were told in our reply, to re-submit our event when we had reached 100 convoy participants.

However, 3 days later, on the 25 Sep 00:02, the ‘REAL OPERATIONS - 24 NOVEMBER 2019’ event was published. Now we were NOT informed of this and were still of the belief that we were able to have our original convoy date without issue. We feel that TruckersMP should’ve taken this into consideration and informed our community as soon as possible, knowing that we would be re-submitting this event as soon as we hit 100 participants on ets2c.

When we re-submitted our event, we were told that the event date was now booked and unavailable. At that time, it was only 19 days to the event, so it was looking increasingly unlikely to reschedule. We held some emergency team talks and have decided to try for the 30th November, which was accepted on the 12th November.

Plasma Gaming is very disappointed in TruckersMP for knowingly planning a major event/convoy on a date you knew had prior planned major events on. We understand this was not done on purpose against our community, but TruckersMP have now sabotaged our community events.

Congratulations to our Driver of the Month for June - Hippo

We're pleased to say that Plasma Trucking meets the requirements and is now 'Validated.'

This will, hopefully, help us to recruit more Drivers as we're listed higher up on the VTC page with a gold name too.

We're working on reaching 'Verified' status next. To do this we will be organising more company events such as:

• Private 'members only' drives
• Casual convoys open to the public

We will also be attending more public events formally and as a VTC.

This should provide an enriched experience for all drivers, whether that be something to do during 'lockdown,' more friends to drive with or simply pride of place in our VTC and the wider community.

As announced in Discord, we have now improved the experience for our Simulation division. Therefore, there is now a 500mi a month distance quota.

This change now allows for both short jobs and long jobs without too much inconvenience to the driver, as we feel this is achievable for all drivers.

If you find this amount is not achievable, please get in touch! We'll be able to get you moved over to our Casual division, and you'll be able to move back over to Simulation whenever you feel ready!

This change will start from July.

Over the course of October our drivers completed a total of 10841km throughout 17 deliveries. Our driver of the month for October is Bossie again! We're hoping for November we can up these deliveries and get more people involved in our convoys.

• Events will now show who created them
• VTC Events are now shown on the Plasma event system. Due to caching by TMP these events will appear around 5 minutes after they're created on TruckersMP. This isn't something we can control, but isn't really a problem either!

Hopefully this will allow everyone easier sign up to events hosted by Plasma Trucking!

These are like World of Truck deliveries to a certain location for a specialist reason! These jobs get submitted in the same way as your other jobs, but if they go to the same location as the one specified in the mission, then your jobs will count towards that goal!

In the image below, you can see that our driver RandomWelshguy has already submitted a job to Brussels this month, and his job has contributed 2% to the total goal!

So, all drivers, get out there and go and deliver jobs to Brussels! The location & mission will change every month, so keep an eye on it!

Missions can be seen by everyone, but only those in our Simulation driver division will be able to contribute to it! Therefore, if you're in the casual division and wish to contribute to this, please message a VTC leader right away!

We hope this new development is a step forward to a more competitive VTC for a simulation drivers, and we really hope this encourages our drivers to get out there and deliver loads for the VTC!

This website update is major and although the website has been tested, please report any issues via our Support Desk!

We have had a few discussions about how we would like to improve the VTC and we're planning on implementing a few changes.

Firstly, we would like to increase the job quota to 1500 miles (2400km) per month. We felt as though our current job quota was quite easy to do and took away incentive to play the game as well as decreasing the likelihood of people attending convoys. We are also going to enforce convoy quotas more, meaning Simulation drivers are expected to attend at least one convoy per month. Failing to meet these quotas will result in transferral to Casual division.

As well as changing Simulation quotas, we would like to introduce a quota for Casual drivers. We found that there are a lot of drivers in Casual who take advantage of the division to do nothing. The quota is incredibly manageable! You are simply asked to remain active in the Discord and invite users to the Discord. Those with a genuine reason to take time away are exempt from this, and should use our LOA system (found at https://plasmagc.com/inactivity).

We would also like to introduce a new role: @Driver of the Month! This role will be rewarded to the user that is number one on the leaderboard (found at https://plasmagc.com/vtc/leaderboard) at the end of the month - staff are exempt from this. The role will remain with the user for the entirety of the next month, and the role will be allocated to the whichever driver is number one on the leaderboard for the next month. The role will appear above all of the driver roles, so you'll have some pretty cool bragging rights for a month...

These changes will not come into place until October 1st. There are more updates coming in the future, so stay tuned!

Quota Change: We will be changing the quota to only 2 convoys per month. We feel as though if you are interested in joining a VTC, it's to drive; there's no point us forcing you to drive if that's not what you want to do. This shouldn't be too much to ask, as we currently host 2-3 convoys per week.

Removing Divisions: Leading on from the Quota Change, we will be removing Casual and Simulation Division. It will now be a requirement for you to maintain this monthly quota to remain a member of Plasma Trucking. We've noticed that a lot of drivers have been in Casual Division for several months and don't tend to show up to convoys, let alone stay active in the server; we understand that some people have reasons for inactivity - this is completely understandable, so if you do have a reason, please refer to the Plasma LOA System, found here: https://plasmagc.com/inactivity.

Required Hours: The hours required to join Plasma Trucking will be changed to 50 hours in ETS2/ATS and TMP Account for 3 months. We feel as though this is ample time to show that you enjoy the game and are willing to drive for the VTC. In light of several users trying to join Plasma Trucking with little to no knowledge of the game, we want to enforce this requirement. This ensures that drivers are the best they can be, and can represent the VTC online. We will also require that members have all punishment history public on their TMP account.

We're going to drum roll .... KIRKENES QUARRY! :D From the Scania Race Track in Stockholm, to Kirkenes Quarry, this will be a convoy of skill and determination as we drive (quite carefully!) to the finish!

How frequently do you host convoys? We try and host 2 or 3 VTC drives each week however this is something we are looking to improve so we can host more convoys at different times. Along side our own private convoys we also attend public convoys with other VTC's at least once a week.

Aside from pre-planned convoys, our drivers frequently go on informal drives themselves.
