Hello,

Previously, you only saw Leader - who often took the lead in our VTC convoys and events organized by other VTCs. However, we feel this still doesn't really guarantee members driving behind. And after discussions among Senior Staff took place, we decided to add a new rule to ensure that members participating in the event have a certain safety.

Here is the new rule:

We decided to add the last driver called Tail ETS2MCG. This person will have the task of closing the convoy (the last driver) and will notify the Leader when anything happens to our members. Of course, we still need your cooperation when you have anything happening, you need to notify the Leader or Tail immediately. Another way is to notify the @Representative when joining voice on discord. However, we will still add Co-Leader and Co-Tail in case Leader or Tail has problems or gets kicked. These people will be responsible for managing and ensuring that nothing happens to the members when joining the convoy. And our Senior Staff will be responsible for this task. We will inform the members about 4 people including Leader, Co-Leader, Tail and Co-Tail about 5 to 10 minutes before the departure time of each convoy/event, or you can look at their player tag in-game.

**Note: **This rule only applies when participating in the convoy/event, about the trips, you can freely.

Temporary Rules

1. Follow TruckersMP rules
2. No cars (Only event staff can use pilot cars/police cars)
3. No beacons (Only event staff can use beacons)
4. No mods (This is to reduce crashes and lags)
5. No overtaking (Only event staff are allowed to overtake)
6. Event staff are allowed to use the other side of the road
7. Convoy Control can block junctions
8. Trailers are not allowed in the Start and Finish parking lots, only use it when you drive.
9. Max lead speed is 90km/h
10. Please follow the parking of each team which has provided before. If NOT, you will be KICKED.
11. Please DO NOT park in the Event STAFF parking space. If NOT, you will be KICKED.
12. Please listen to instructions from verified Event STAFF.
13. Do not impersonate event staff in any way. You will be KICKED for the duration of the event if you do.
14. We ask you to keep at least 70-100 meters from the truck in front and the truck behind you.
15. Please RESPECT all participants in the event.

Our Journey Began: August 7, 2016

This year, we proudly celebrated 8 amazing years of ETS2MCG! To mark this milestone, we organized a series of events that truly captured the spirit of our community. Here’s a detailed look at how we celebrated:

03 August 2024: ETS2MCG 8th Anniversary Private Convoy

We kicked off the festivities with an exclusive convoy through the scenic roads of the UK. Why the UK, you ask? Because it’s one of the oldest, unchanged regions in ETS2, perfectly represented our long-standing presence in the community! With over 20+ members joining, we had an incredible time reliving memories and embracing our journey through these classic roads. |

04 August 2024: ETS2MCG 8th Anniversary Public Convoy

Following our private celebration, we opened the festivities to the entire TMP community with a grand public convoy. And what a success it was! 600+ players joined us, making it one of the largest convoys we've ever hosted. A huge shoutout goes to Sunrise Events, whose exceptional support was instrumental in organizing this massive event. They were there every step of the way, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that the event was a resounding success. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our Control Convoy Team, Event Team, Game Moderators, and Event Managers—this convoy wouldn’t have been possible without their dedication and hard work!

07 August 2024: ETS2MCG Logo Making & Members-Only Convoy

On our official anniversary day, we gathered for a unique event—creating a live formation of our logo, "MCG," with our members. This special moment symbolized our unity and the strong bond we've built over the years. To cap off the celebration, we held a nostalgic, old-school convoy for members only, reminiscing about our early days and the incredible journey we’ve shared.

It's the service for everyone to contact upper staffs easily. By sending your message via bot DM, your enquiry will be sent to staffs in the team. After staffs replying to the message, you can receive the answer via the bot DM as well.

What are advantages of ModMail?

1. You can use it 24/7.
2. You can receive answers fast.
3. Your messages can only be opened by you and moderators.
4. It's easy to use.

How can I use it?

First, you need to be in our Discord server, then you can DM to @MCG Modmail. That's all. You will get an answer from the bot itself.

Starting right away, all members with the 'ETS2MCG Member' role in our Discord server now need to set up two-factor authentication (2FA) on their Discord accounts. This extra layer of security will happen through a careful process led by our own bot, named 'Shiftbot'.

When you let the Discord Bot access identity information of your Discord account, this bot will check important things like your Discord username, ID, your avatar's web link, and most importantly, whether or not you're using 2FA. Until our Shiftbot confirms that 2FA is set up, you'll have limited access to some parts of our Discord server. For example, you won't be able to talk in most channels.

To prevent any confusion, we've decided that this mandatory 2FA will only apply to members of ETS2MCG VTC.

This big change will help make the ETS2MCG community not just secure, but also bring a sense of comfort to all our members.

On 15th July 2021, we reached the milestone of 400 members on TruckersMP VTC.

We've been trying a lot lately. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all Staff as well as all Members of ETS2MCG. Without all of you, we wouldn't be where we are today.

From today, we promise to work even harder, provide lots of fun and a happy community for everyone. We hope to reach 500 members this year.

Hello everyone,

After a period of discussion among Senior Staff, we have decided to make some changes in the roles of ETS2MCG VTC.

Here are the changes:

• Vice Leader and Leader role (known as representatives of countries in Asia) will be changed to Representative role.

• Streamer role will be removed as we see very few members apply to this position.

• Trip Marker role will also be removed because since a long time, most events, convoys or daily trip are done by Senior Staff.

These changes will apply to both our Discord and TruckersMP Page. You can see the roles in the photo below.
