We got an official ModMail

Originally, we were using a pre-made ModMail bot which was quite great as a startup, but did not work out after a while.

We have then decided to develop our own bot which will serve the same function, but will be more handy. After looking at quite an ammount of tutorial videos, i began doing the bot. At first, i thought that i will have a hard time with doing all the coding stuff, but i was suprised to see the fact everything was easy to do. After one straight hour of testing everything, i have launched the discord bot and announced it's being.

It will be quite useful for us, since our new applicants will be able to use the ModMail as a way of communicating with our staff members. We are looking forward on developing our Virtual Trucking Company more and more. See you in the next news post, dear reader.

I'm proud to announce, that our VTC reached 10 drivers, and I can tell you, we are not done yet. Ten drivers doesn't really seem that much, but I think this is a great start. We are really active, all of our drivers, and everyone is welcomed, if you are already in a VTC, you can still join our discord, you will find a great community there! I must say a big thank you for all our members, drivers, I got no words other than thank you, I mean giving us your trust, yeah, it feels awesome. So.... 10 drivers? Just think about it.... be right back.

Van Dijk B.V Managed to reach an amazing milestone.

A few weeks ago, our discord server reached 100 members, excluding the Discord Bots. Sadly a few people did leave and we were no longer at the 100 members milestone. But now, on the 18th of July, 2021, we have officially gotten 102 discord server members and 15 amazing Virtual Trucking Company drivers.

In March, when we began working with this project, i hardly would have ever imagined that one day we will be here, in such a short period of time.

We are looking forward on expanding our community and making it grow, maybe one day, we will be a well known company across the TruckersMP Community.

And as a last sentence, we are gonna implement a major project for our Virtual Trucking Company drivers, be prepared.

Maybe we will really be The King Of The Road?

Van Dijk became something which worth a mention. As you guys see, we are still growing, and I promise, we won't stop.

We currently have 27 drivers, and oh boi, they are better than we have ever dreamed of. We did more than 200 thousand kilometers of deliveries in August, and I was really happy to see that. Now if I open up the tracker, it says more than 150k. All I can say is a wonderful community that we have around here, and I will mention all the people who are not in the VTC but still on the server, and also talking, posting often there, it means alot to us.

I think these stats show that we are pretty active, and I'm really happy that I got the best workers who are loyal, helpful, kind and also, they do driving at its finest. In style.

Van Dijk B.V's first partnership with a Virtual Trucking Company

As we are progressing, our Virtual Trucking Company is slowly but surely growing. We've been thinking about how we should interact with other community's, and create more and more friends.

THERMO LINER GROUP (https://truckersmp.com/vtc/29499) offered us a partnership, and since we've been already planning something similar, we were happy to accept it. With this, our first partnership took place. We are excited to see some further opportunities with which, our community and VTC can grow bigger and bigger

Introducing Van Dijk Weekly.

From now on we will release a news letter summing up everything that has happened over the week here at Van Dijk B.V.

We will be introducing a Picture of the Month Event. Every Picture of the Month event will have a different theme that needs to be followed. You will send you submissions in the specified channel where users will be able to vote for their favourite pictures. The winner's image will be featured in our Instagram, he will receive a special role and he will be able to choose the theme for the next Picture of the Month event.

Finally, the day we've been waiting for has arrived.

The Van Dijk B.V opened it's gates, and began recruiting for drivers.

This was a day I've been dreaming of, always wanted to found a VTC, which would grow bigger and bigger. As the previous VTC Technician of the Van der Roling I've learnt many important things about the way VTC'S run.

In the past days, i had an idea of opening something on my own, and i decided to actually make my idea a real thing.

I'm looking with hope into the future, with the hope that i created a community which will grow big one day.

There are many things to do, but I'm sure, the VTC I've been wishing for will work out.

First convoy attended by a Van Dijk driver.

Yesterday, Red Line Cargo hosted a convoy, and we thought that we should attend it, so we can get more known in the TruckersMP Community. Our Chief Operating Officer, Botond decided to attend the convoy, originally it was planned that me, the founder would attend besides him either, but sadly due to some reasons, this didn't happen.

Botond was the only one to attend the event, and even though i wasn't there, I was absolutely excited.

As being told after, the convoy was amazing, he met with multiple known people, and represented the Van Dijk B.V VTC there.

After a long time of thinking and considerations, we've come to the decision of leaving the TruckersMP Community.

There are multiple reasons for this kind of decision, but the main one is the lack of interest in TMP by the members inside our VTC. Due to this, we got a huge opportunity to improve our fleet by using high quality mods both in SCS MP and SinglePlayer mode.

Our official plan is waiting until the RLC Farewell convoy and then officially leave the community. It is quite sad for us to see one of the greatest company go down, and we'd like to pay our respect to them.

With this, i'd like to thank everyone inside the TruckersMP the great memories and times together. Best wishes and safe trucking
