Convoy With Red Rose

On Sunday, 11th October, Old School Transport hosted a fun drive with our partners, Red Rose VTC. The convoy consisted of twelve trucks hauling electronics from Carlisle in the UK to Bratislava in Slovakia. Departing at 19:00 UK time, we drove via Flexistowe to cross to Rotterdam and explored the roads with pride. All went well, even with some hurdles and some reckless traffic along the way, the drive was a total success. We thank every participating member of the convoy, from Old School Transport and Red Rose VTC for enjoying this drive with us and we hope to join each other again in the near future.

WHACKY RACES

Congratulations on All the drivers who took part in the Whacky races Last Month. 1st AndyZam 2nd mentalgamer95 3rd JDraak I would like to give a huge shout out to Brainy for creating all our racing trucks and trailers, you did an amazing job on the race trucks. (If anyone wants to get the race truck skins you can find them in workshop) We hope to be having the event again possibly in a few months, we will keep everyone posted on the date. From the beginning of this month we will be back to real miles so don't be speeding now.

Casual Sunday Convoy

Sunday the 31st Of July was our last day of the month and a chance to do something different. Everyone was encouraged to drive with a skin of their own choosing. The Convoy started at 7pm and did a scenic route through Austria . The Truck drivers took a double trailer and did a total distance of 350km. It seems to be a trend to have a convoy every Sunday. Everyone joins the group Discord and enjoys the company of like minded people. Tomorrow is the beginning of the new month and we will be reporting the results of the Drivers.

Well its been quiet for a while now on TruckersMP, we have not posted much as there have been some big changes going on, just like ETS2 and ATS at the moment we ourselves have been undergoing some big changes, we have made new truck trailers and a new logo too!!! Within the Company, there was a vote on the colours, this is a way that everyone gets a say in the company There are lot's of interesting things to come over the next few weeks so keep those eyes peeled, if your interested in joining be sure to click on the links on our VTC page.

Old School Transport has had a busy month with the new DLC Montana on American Truck Simulator. Everyone has worked on getting the new challenge achieved, which consists of taking or delivering a job to and from Montana to get the World of Trucks rewards like a new skin. Truckers have been waiting in anticipation for Montana map for a while now, and eagerly waiting Texas DLC. However the release of the DLC is a highlight for this month. So far For Our company Old School Transport: two drivers have achieved the challenge and are encouraging other players to get finished.

Old School Transport Update

This Month on Old School Transport we have had a busy time. Within the month most of the drivers have managed to do their 5000km which is required of each driver monthly. In total Old School Transport has 14 drivers. Drivers can drive by themselves or get onto the company discord and enjoy chatting to other drivers on the chat while they do their miles. Although its not fully the end of the month, the drivers kilometers in the lead are as follows;- 35,296 highest kilometers so far 17,665 Second highest kms so far 15,531 Third highest kms so far

Who will win this month? As Always, keep those miles real and remember "There's No School like the Old School"

First Company Convoy

Old School Transport had their Official convoy #1. It was a great success as our team came together in Aberdeen at 18:30. We all departed from Aberdeen at 19:00 and we drove to Munich hauling tomato sauce. The total distance of the convoy was 2011Km. Leading the Convoy was Briany as Convoy Control followed by AndyZam, JDraak, Joey, Mentalgamer95 and at the back John Bean. We had an wonderful time with our co-drivers and an awesome experience as an team. Delivery was successful with a sense of total satisfaction with our job completed and among each other as an team. We extend our thanks towards everyone who attended for an awesome evening.

OST is Planning to Regular Covoys every Sunday possibly having Partners also taking Part in the Future.

First Partnered Convoy

0n 18th September 2021 Old School transport were doing a drive with three of our driver. Old School Transport colours are red, white and black. Proudly we travelled through Austria. At the boarder of Austria we met up with our friendly buddies Real Miles Trucking, their colours are black and gold. Meeting up with the was actually by coincidence but it turned out to be a great drive as we were lucky enough to Convoy with Real Miles Trucking from Austria to France. This is a 2347 km journey from Szeged Hungary to La Rochelle France according to the log book and enjoyed great laughs with each other. 5 trucks were in the Convoy,but everyone has good skills as drivers and drove well. No accidents on the trip except two truckers from Old school Transport had a little crash. We look forward to future convoys as this has inspired us to start our own partner channel in Discord. Doing a new division on discord with partnering smaller companies. Always pushing for better.

We take pride in being a new ( ish )company that has 13 drivers which is not alot in the Virtual Trucking Company, but every driver is active by : DOING MILES that actually count and not race miles, and regularly joining the group to do certain jobs throughout the week. To be promoted to OST (Old School Trucking) driver you need complete the minimum 5000 km within the month.

First OST Promotions

Old School Transport would like to congratulate BrainySmurf and Joey on there promotion!

Brainy has been given the position of News and Events Editor: this entails helping me post events, upcoming convoys and latest news
Joey has been promoted to Dispatcher: this entails dispatching custom jobs through trucksbook.

Both drivers have been with Old School Transport for almost a month and are both active within the company. These jobs will be new challenges for both drivers so will be in training for a while, please be patient with them. Well done you two!

Old School Transport would like to congratulate Mentalgamer for being the first driver to reach 100,000 km in the month of September. Mentalgamer is Co Owner of Old School Transport. Old School Transport would also like to congratulate Brainysmurf as the second driver to reach 100,000 km. Brainysmurf has been with the company for over a month. At this point of the month we have reached a total of 430 881 km real miles on ETS and a total of 68 993 km real miles on ATS. We are currently Ranked 158th place Overall. This is Excellent work for such a small company!
