September has been an active month for us, with new members joining, hitting certain milestones, and re-branding!

PAST AND FUTURE EVENTS

As usual, we have attended several ConSec's weekly events/convoys, Thanks for hosting us! We've also partook in the Atlantic Romania 1st year anniversary event, the Real Ops ETS2, and Himalayan Logistics convoys. We will continue taking part in more upcoming events to enable us get enough reputation and recognition. MKENYA is yet to host its first convoy, but we wish to host one or two convoys with various invited VTCs, hopefully before the year ends.

WHERE ARE WE NOW?

Withing the month of September, we have seen a rise in new members, both locally and international players. We are thankful to everyone who has shown support and we hope for a fruitful future. We are looking intro partnering up with some well recognized VTCs (i.e Consec group) and some local ones too. We are currently the largest VTC in East Africa! With consistency and commitment, we are sure to become one of the largest in Africa!

NEW RANKING SYSTEM

Af of October, we will be introducing new roles and ranks depending on the total distance you manage to drive, your monthly will be added to your total distance each month, and a role assigned to you! We will be utilizing Trucksbook to calculate and log your trips.

Novice ▬ 1001 - 5,000 KMS

Novice II ▬ 5001 - 10,000 KMS

Novice III ▬ 10,001 - 15,000 KMS

Pro III ▬ 30,001 - 40,000 KMS

Welcome to MKENYA's first edition of monthly Newsletters!

Firstly, an intro. We are a Kenyan VTC company, but we have players from all over the world. We are a newly formed VTC (Founded April 13th 2021 by NdegeJohn and Capu) but we have big dreams and goals for this small team!

August has been a successful month for MKENYA and we can’t complain on the progress we have made. Here’s what we’ve been up to.

NEW RANKING SYSTEM

We are planning to introduce a new ranking system that utilizes Trucksbook ETS2/ATS logging to showcase trips. You can apply here: https://trucksbook.eu/company/119356 More updates on our discord.

PAST AND FUTURE EVENTS

We had the ConSec August special event on the 28th where some MKENYA members were able to represent the team, we also took part in the GTL August event on the 29th and Rising logistics August even on the 20th. We have yet to host our own event, but we plan on doing so soon!

PARTNERSHIP

As a new VTC, we want to form partnerships with both local and international VTCs, to gain exposure and experience. We have a possible upcoming partnership with ConSec group, and we hope all goes well.

A lot has happened in the previous months, hence why this is a combined newsletter. MKENYA LOGISTICS has had several rebranding from renaming, a new colour scheme, discord ranks & roles.

This has been in the works for a while now, but we are pleased to announce that as for 2022, all players will receive a certain rank each month depending on their Trucksbook performance. We will also introduce discord levels and the economy. This is a feature that we want to introduce as early as February 2022. The various ranks are as follows:

Recruit - (New members) Under 50,000 KMS

Novice - 50,001 KMS - 80,000 KMS

Skilled - 80,001 KMS - 120,000 KMS

Pro - 120,001 - 150,000 KMS

Legend - 150,001 KMS - 200,000 KMS

Legend II - 200,001 KMS - 300,000 KMS

Master - 300,001 KMS - 600,000 KMS

Master II - 600,001 KMS - 999,999 KMS

Grand Master - 1,000,000+ KMS

Note: Ranks are given on the total number of kilometres you have each month.

From now on Admins and Drivers will have different skins, this is to help quicky identify each other in convoys. Each player, whilst in a convoy, is required to:

• Use the correct skin
• Use the correct name tag (MKENYA in green)
• Use Trucksbook to log trips (You need to be registered on Trucksbook)

We have introduced new departments to spread the workload. The following are the departments (This is not final, as changes are still happening)

In the past few months, we’ve had the privilege of having two new Moderators join the MKENYA admin team. Congratulations to Kena (XpertKenaTion#7207) and Kellz (KeLLz#2467). Kena will be joining the technical department whilst Kellz will join the HR department.

As we’re growing as a VTC, we’ve also decided to venture into other games, this is a move to accommodate more players with a variety of skills. A few of us have been playing CSGO for a while within the past months, we’re looking into having a professional CSGO team in the future, and are looking to expand. Some of our members have also been playing GTA V, Battlefield V, and Forza Horizon 5. We’re also going to be testing Live For Speed (LFS) which is a racing simulator. At MKENYA, we are always looking to expand and grow, we will always welcome any new members who wish to join or contribute to the team.

During the past three months we recruited 7 drivers. They are as follows;

DRIVER OF THE MONTH

For the past three months we had variety of winners and the competition was very stiff at the top. Drivers were logging jobs passionately. They were also awarded Steam Gift Cards among other prizes. All the results were based in the Trucksbooks Platform.

In The month of July our able CEO, Mr Banabeu managed to lead the pack clocking 38693KMS at the end of the month. Jonkim came 2nd with 33448KMS and in the third place came Sam with 30266KMS.

In the month of August, a new winner popped up and this was Sam who managed to log whooping 117966KMS in a single month!. Banabeu came 2nd with 108101KMS and finally Maestro came in the third place with 53074KMS.

In the month of September,our new recruits managed to come in the top with TReagan taking the first place clocking 162105KMS in a single month. Morgan Stewartz came in 2nd clocking 85417KMS and finally Maestro logging a total of 33225KMS in that month.

STAFF OF THE MONTH

For the month of August, we introduced a new way of recognizing hard working staff. Our staff member and Event Manager Maestro , took the staff of the month award for his continuous effort in ensuring daily dispatch is happening and our drivers are attending events in an organised way.

DEVELOPMENT NEWS

Great things have been cooking in the background for Mkenya Logistics with the help of our technical team Castle and XpertKenation.

As we are planning to implement the various gaming divisions here at Mkenya, the Discord maintenance is always scheduled to run every month.

Also on the same breathe, we are planning to introduce a custom SCS Garage and a Custom VTC paint to be used in SCS Convoys.

A drivers hub is also planned to be introduced to our drivers to localize the logging of our jobs.

STAFF UPDATES / PROMOTIONS!

During the last 6 months there has been a lot of drastic improvements and new strategies put in place from the administrative department on the part of assigning new staff roles to dedicated staff who are willing to bring an absolute change to bringing the face of mkenya logistics to the top to that of being a Verified and Validated VTC in our TMP Community

Due to that our Founders Capu and Johnny decided to sit down and internalise keenly in looking for a right leader who would help in representing and airing out some of the challenges being faced in our VTC and also get to represent Mkenya Logistics well as a bold leader.

Due to that notice Banabeu was promoted to the role of acting CEO and we congratulate him in being attained that new high staff rank position where he will now be able to represent us well as a logistic virtual trucking company in the tmp community

Discord Maintenance - Our main Mkenya Gaming Discord is undergoing some maintenance in preparation of incorporating our much eagerly anticipated launch of various gaming divisions to many games that we hope to have a large growing gaming community in future.

New Drivers

New drivers should always visit our website: www.mkenyalogistics.com, and join our discord to begin the the application process. You ought to meet the following requirements:

• You must have at least a legal copy of ATS or ETS2.
• You must be a friendly & responsible person.
• Have basic English knowledge

Once you meet all requirements, you can submit your application, which our HRM will either accept/reject in 24 hours. All communication is done via discord, and all new drivers are advised to join using this link: www.discord.io/mkenya

Returning Drivers

So you left the VTC, and looking into joining again? You will have to contact our HRM on discord, and submit a different application. Note that, your application can either be accepted/declined. Also, we do not accept applications for drivers who have left the VTC more than 3 time.

At MKENYA Logistics, we believe in rewarding drivers for their various achievements. Some achievements include:

• Fastest driver
• Most distance driven
• Photo of the month
• Staff/Driver of the month

New driver roles will also be implemented for the distance driven since their joining of ML. Information on the new ranking system will be communicated further on our discord.

Staff changes

Our HR, Xpertkenation has been promoted to the CTO. This move is made to ensure development is on-going and progressive. Our recent CTO, Castle was our CTO, and he handled the role quite well, bringing new ideas and changes into the VTC. However due to added responsibilities, He had to step down and retain only the COO role, handing the CTO position to Xpertkenation.

Discord

We are in the process or re-thinking and re-structuring the MKENYA Gaming discord. As more and more drivers are joining, it will be difficult managing all games withing one server, one of our future plans is to move the logistics department into a separate stand alone server, and keep the main server open to other games. Another addition to the discord is roles and ranking + economy. Drivers and discord members will be able to earn money, rise in levels, and participate in giveaways within the discord community.

Marketing

Our team is looking to get a stable marketing department, who will be responsible for marketing MG and its subsidiaries. Interested? Join our discord and raise a ticket!

With the release of our logistics website, we will be working on our MKENYA Gaming website, with the final plans and design announced by the end of the year.
