What’s the Role of Event Team About?

If you are an organized individual who enjoys coordinating and supporting official events, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. As part of the team, you will provide clear directions and instructions during official GPE events, helping to ensure a smooth and enjoyable convoy experience for all participants. It’s a great chance to put your creative and communication skills to use while working alongside a highly professional and supportive team.

What you will be responsible of:

➤ Providing clear directions and timely instructions during official GPE events
➤ Ensuring smooth convoys by maintaining structure and coordination with your fellow members
➤ Collaborating with fellow GPE Event Team members as well as Event Assistants
➤ Representing Golden Phoenix Express with professionalism during GPE events

Welcome to the twenty-first edition of our Shining Stars series, where we highlight the amazing individuals that make up the GPE family. This time, we're proud to shine the spotlight on Nando, one of our dedicated drivers.

What is your favourite part about our family?

Everyone knows each other well and there is always a core of people thats up for a ride or a talk. Besides that, I would say there is a healthy balance between professionalism and a relaxed atmosphere. This as a whole creates an environment I find the most comfort in.

What do you typically drive and where do you drive it?

I usually drive an Iveco Stralis and you can mostly find me at convoys. Besides that, I like to drive areas that apply the most to what I am experiencing irl depending on the weather and sceneries.

What game is better: ETS2 or ATS? (Why)

Both games have their unique characteristics which makes this hard to answer. I think both games are good in their own ways.

What other games do you play?

I usually play shooter games like Valorant, CS and Overwatch. Besides that, I play other games that often include strategy or simply socialising with friends.

Why did you join the GPE Family?

I saw an advertisement and compared to other advertisements GPE stood out to me in different ways. The way things were phrased and its appearance felt unique to me and I gave it a shot. I was given a warm welcome and before I knew over 3 years have passed since I joined.

What is your dream job?

I have been playing football since a very young boy and up to this day I still play regularly. However, with my age I doubt I will be able to make it my job (but never say never haha). Currently I am studying and working in the logistics field, but I also wouldn't mind to get a job related to sports.

What would you say is one thing you have learned whilst in GPE?

Being in GPE has shown me the ins and outs of this community and it has made me grow both as a person and a driver. Throughout the years I have spent here, I have made many experiences with great people around me that allowed me to develop and become who I am right now.

What are your hobbies?

Besides gaming I like to travel and do sports. Being abroad, far away from home, comes along with the greatest stories. Whether it is a cultural trip or being out somewhere with friends. Besides that, sports do make me feel great as I find it fun to while its also healthy.

What 1 word sums up your TruckersMP experience?

Unique.

Finally, what would be your one bit of advice to a new driver on TruckersMP?

Enjoy and do your own things in your own way.

Welcome to the twentieth edition of our Shining Stars series, where we highlight the amazing individuals that make up the GPE family. This time, we're proud to shine the spotlight on Keysotin, one of our dedicated Swedish drivers.

What is your favourite part about our family?

My favorite part about the family is that we daily hangout in voice chat and attend convoys and events or just simply drive.

What do you typically drive and where do you drive it?

I practically always drive a Scania S with a Thor bull bar from the Mighty Griffin tuning pack kind of feels like my signature accessory.

What game is better: ETS2 or ATS? (Why)

I’ve spent way too many hours of my life on simulators and ETS2 being the first simulator I played when I was young, it is definitively my favorite game out of the two.

What other games do you play?

I have about 30 games currently installed and out of those being 5 simulator games but my current collection is around 120 games throughout all platforms. Safe to say I’m a gamer.

Why did you join the GPE Family?

When I started playing on TMP, I didn’t have a friend group or anyone else I knew who played ETS2, so I always drove alone without a goal. I joined a VTC that quickly lost its energy and I realized I had to find a more motivated VTC to join. That’s when I joined GPE.

What is your dream job?

My dream job is to be a real truck driver or something more competitive like a rally driver.

What would you say is one thing you have learned whilst in GPE?

I have learned to try to treat everyone in the family how I want to be treated, and that also goes for any new family members.

What are your hobbies?

Other than gaming I work on cars, weight lifting, hobby photography and back in Autumn started fishing.

What 1 word sums up your TruckersMP experience?

Delicate.

Finally, what would be your one bit of advice to a new driver on TruckersMP?

Stay away from c-d and find a group of people who drive long distance jobs, TMP is a much better experience that way.

What is your favourite part about our family?

My favorite part about the GPE family is our shared love for trucking, the friendly atmosphere, and the absence of conflicts or bad behavior.

What do you typically drive and where do you drive it?

I typically drive a Mercedes Actros MegaSpace with an old Scania 560hp engine. I drive it everywhere!

What game is better: ETS2 or ATS? (Why)

I prefer ATS because of the graphics, they make it look better. But at the same time, ETS2 is more fun because of TMP.

For me, ETS2 is better because I don’t really like American style roads. I prefer driving on roads with lots of turns.

What other games do you play?

I usually do not play other games besides ETS2.

Why did you join the GPE Family?

I joined because I wanted to have people to drive with and be part of a family.

What is your dream job?

Honestly, I don’t really know yet.

What would you say is one thing you have learned whilst in GPE?

I’ve learned that you have to be nice to everyone.

What are your hobbies?

Mainly ETS2/ATS and flight sim. I also like to go bowling now and then, and I hit the gym sometimes.

What 1 word sums up your TruckersMP experience?

Family.

Be kind to everyone and practice your skills.
