We are through half of May 2026 already, and I personally do not know where the time is going to!! The biggest news from SCSsoftware of course, is the dropping of ETS2 & ATS 1.59 and all credit to the TMP devs as it didnt take them very long to upgrade to the new version.

Several of our staff and drivers attended the Global Cargo May Convoy and the Pink Ribbon 4th Anniversary events over the course of the first part of May,

In the background and behind the scenes our event and social media director, is tweaking things to make the Event & Social Media Team's lives a bit easier - huge thank you to Pickl3z for his work here.

We have regretfully noticed a number of VTC's closing their doors over the past number of months, and no doubt there are a people who are perhaps looking to join a new VTC. We have a number of events we are planning to attend:

On Friday 1st May 2026, we gather at TruckersMP HQ in Poland, as we get ready to depart as a VTC to attend the festival on the island built by the TruckersMP team for this festival. Once we got the train over to the island some of us went straight to the stage area where there is a truck show above where you can vote for your favourite looking truck to win, then we started to head down underground to the stage area where you can meet some of the TMP staff include Luna as she is the Project Manager here at TruckersMP. We also met Penguin, Purrie, Geology Rocks, Stormboi, mascotte149, d4rksy, Welshy., Donald_Duck and many more throughout the festival.

Obstacle Courses

After spending around an hour at the stage speaking with the community of TMP, we made our way to the Obstacle Courses there were four courses you can complete with your truck & trailer to challenge your driving skills. As a VTC we've completed them all with laugh and funny moments along the course, some of us got stuck a few times with the driving reversing part of the course. We were there for a good amount of time as BVAR Trucking took over the area with all our drivers attending the Obstacle Course.

The staff member who were looking after the area are Geology Rocks, Replay__, mascotte149, itz_melody_x, as well for Donald_Duck for doing the courses with a double-trailer which is a big challenge I would say.

Azure Waterfalls

Next we made our way to the Azure Waterfalls for some nice pictures but also it also memory lane of how TruckersMp all started 12 years ago, as when drive down the road there are billboards on either side of the road with useful information about TruckersMP. Like when the Event team started, how many players has signup to TMP per year and when the first real Ops happened etc...

Shallow Pass - Race Track

To end the day at the festival we have alot of races against each other and the trucking community as Pickl3z went on his side at one time due to the rough ground of the track, Replay__ was the one to call the start of each race in his event van. We were here for awhile having alot of fun but nobody have won from the VTC but least we have got alot of picture of the dirt race track, one of our driver Scottish Assassin feel right at home as he bring his race truck to the track as he really enjoy racing everyone at the track.

The end of another month and amazing one it has been too. A huge thank you to all our drivers and staff for putting in the miles and attending events we were invited to, and indeed our very own monthly convoy for April. All were fantastic.The truckersmp 12 year official celebrations, will be done in a separate post.

Certainly for me (Rescue193uk | Event & Social Media Manager) - this year is absolutely flying by. It started off quietly enough and then as we started to plan our 8 year anniversary!! We have been absolutely stunned by the incredible uptake of VTC's responding positively to our invitations - a big thank you to those who have booked their slots for their VTC - and we look forward to welcoming public coming along as well.

So what else have we been up to since the beginning of April? On the 8th we had our monthly convoy, starting from Milan through some twisty roads with some scenic areas. The final destination was the Krone depot at Werlte. One of our ESM & TMP event team members, Mel was helping to facilitate the event, and we had the pleasure of TMP Event Manager, Purrie.

A huge thank you to all who were able to attend our April convoy, it was amazing to see you all.

We have a number of events we are down to enjoy later on in the month, however I cannot pass by the enjoyment I had on the TruckersMP April Convoy held a couple of days ago on the 11th. Huge turn out as always from many VTC's and public alike. Ironically it started in Tirana - which is where our 8th Anniversary will be starting from. The route was fantastic, lots of amazing green scenery, rocky mountains, twisty passes, rolling through towns and cities before arriving at our destination at Zadar

Due to unprecedented uptake to our invitations and other VTCs seeing our posts on our VTC social media platforms about our 8th anniversary, it has become necessary to move to a larger destination company to accommodate all attendees. The new destination company is:- CNP

We will have a convoy control team in attendance to help with the running of this event making sure that it runs smooth

He has show his hard work that he put into his department for the past 3 years since being hired into the Event Team.

TruckersMP Event Staff, Admins and other official staff did a wonderful job keeping the event moving and one of my colleagues in the BVAR Trucking Event & Social Media Team, itzmelodyx was also at the event in her official capacity of Convoy Control In addition our CEO Replay was also at the event in his role as TruckersMP Event Team member. Replay was a retired member of the team until recently - so keep a look out for him on the roads of TMP and of course, at events.

It has been an incredible 8 years since BVAR Trucking started to hammer the roads of TruckersMP. We, as a VTC have seen a huge number of changes, both internally and with the number of VTCs sadly closing their doors for various reasons.

Our CEO, Replay has still got the passion for both the BVAR Trucking and our members, as well as trundling around Promods, attending convoys and having a fantastic & experienced management team.

Our event team are currently planning our 8 year anniversary and the take up of other VTCs who have already signed up and booked slots has, “gob smacked” us all!! We still have a few slots available if your VTC would like to and is available to attend.

Today was the evening when we held our February monthly public convoy. We started in the lovely town of Lamia in Greece, and began to head up to Skopje in North Macedonia. The route took in some wonderful scenery along with some challenging hairpin roads which was very exciting. February's route was made and submitted by one of our drivers, GoingDutchman - so a huge thank you and a big shout-out for the route.

It was a very successful event from another perspective as well. We had one of our largest turnouts from other VTCs in a long time for one of our monthly convoys. We had just under 30 in attendance this evening and it was a great to see.
