NOTE: These rules are copied and pasted from our discord rules channel so these rules go for Discord and Trucking on ATS or ETS on or off of TruckersMP

1. General Rules 1.1 - You must abide by Discord’s Guidelines and Terms of Service, found on their website. 1.2 - The use of selfbots is not allowed here. 1.3 - Avoid the use of mass tags (@ here, @ everyone, etc). The only roles you should tag are @Moderators/@Admins when absolutely necessary. 1.4 - Do not tag an administrator/moderator or PM them directly for questions. If you need an Administrator/Moderator and it is absolutely necessary, tag the role. 1.5 - Do not tag or PM @Scottywonderful unless really required (He gets notified of every message posted, that's why). Please talk in the appropriate discord room also. 1.6 - No backseat moderation. (Do not moderate unless you are an @Admin/@Moderator/@Farm Manager/@Community Coordinator/@QES Commissioner/Commander/@QES Probie Commisioner/Commander)

2. Respecting Other Users 2.1 - Bullying, verbal abuse, insults, discriminatory language, hate speech or threats towards others with not be tolerated. 2.2 - Rank structure and chain of command should be followed at all times. 2.3 - Disputes or arguments should be taken to PM and not in a public channels, and put through the chain of command, if necessary. 2.4 - You must not reveal, or try to reveal, without expressed permission, any personally identifiable information of another person. 2.5 - ALL MEMBERS should be treated with respect and dignity, and we do not discriminate based on age, race, gender, etc.

3. Usernames, Nicknames and Avatars 3.1 - No impersonation of other people, admins or users. 3.2 - Usernames must be taggable and not use odd fonts or encoding that make usernames taller/wider than standard. The use of symbols, emojis, and icons are forbidden.

4. Inappropriate Content 4.1 - This includes and is not limited to displaying illegal, offensive, derogatory, or sexually explicit content and the distribution of links, pictures or videos of this nature. 4.2 - Also included is the distribution of links or files containing viruses, malware, illegal software, torrents etc. that is considered illegal and all information will be provided to the appropriate authorities. 4.3 - Politics and other "sensitive" subjects should not be discussed. 4.4 - External emoticons must not be explicit or inappropriate when used. 4.5 - The promotion of other communities including, but not limited to: products, links, Discord invites, mentions, or comparisons is strictly prohibited unless posted by an @Owner/Co-Owner. 4.6 - Any content, messages, or information that is posted in channels accessible to restricted people is NOT for retransmission in any way. Users who divulge this content to non-approved persons or groups from these private channels are subject to immediate ban from the community.

5. American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 5.1 - Ensure you follow all SCS, TruckersMP and other ATS or ETS2 related rules. 5.2 - Try to stay active in discord and on the logs. We understand life happens sometimes. 5.3 - Drive safely on the road and do not give us a bad name. 5.4 - We run in Km/h and litres so please set your game as the same. 5.5 - If in a convoy ensure that everyone agrees on the path/destination unless organised as a part of the convoy. 5.6 - Respect others opinions and choices. Do not bad mouth drivers. 5.7 - Remember to be on the discord channels when being in the VTC and actively driving. 5.8 - Do not in any form try and run another member off the road whilst online.
