Monthly report - October 2024

It's been a long time since our monthly reports stopped - I think it's time to restart them. We had some dark times in the company, At september BCS company was actually in negative balance but thanks to multiple people, the company got a huge revival

I'd like to say welcome also to Thunderburrow, who became the manager exclusively for our trucking side.

Migrating VTC over to Trucky Hub

We have decided to move our VTC over from TrucksBook to Trucky Hub.

There's one big reason for the move - it's the first VTC client to support all platforms: Windows, Mac & Linux (for linux it wants you to run ETS 2/ATS through proton). They have also gotten ridden of their Overwolf requirments which used to be annoying thin in the past.

Feature wise it also doesn't seem to be lacking compared to TrucksBook nor the other one we tried last year. Quite opposite actually, seems to have more (free) features. It even also has the full realistic economy simulation if we want (like BCS is for OMSI), have to look into that.

TruckersMP VTC opened

Today, TruckersMP team announced their own built in VTC system. (More info about that can be read here: https://truckersmp.com/blog/168).

At least for now we will keep the VTlog version open also since I have a feeling TruckersMP version does not support singleplayer, but we'll see.õ

Monthly reports: March & April 2025

Again, a bit late report, but here we are. Our company rating in BCS is better than in February, however our finances have dropped in April. Most popular buses during that period were MAN and MB CItaro buses.

On trucking side I would say it's the same as usual, few people driving. In March ETS 2 was more popular like always, but in April ATS actually took the lead.

Moving back to TrucksBook

After trialing TruckersHub for our company for a month, I've made a decision to move back to Trucksbook for our company: https://trucksbook.eu/company/57084

Some of the reasons being, more things than I like are paywalled in Truckershub, the website is quite slow and I've found somne issues with how the truckershub runs (and possible it won't work with Linux also, Trucksbooks you can get working with linux with some effort, I've managed to do it).

Thankly only me and Thunderburrow have used TruckersHub so it won't affect anybody else.

We are now using TrucksBook instead of LogIt

Monthly report - February 2025

This was a different month for us, as we migrated over to Trucky Hub from TrucksBook. ETS 2 side saw more activity than usual, even ATS saw some more activity but still quite low. Even though we switched the tracking software, we had still people logging the trips so that's good I think.

On our BCS side we had a huge drop of activity after the holidays ended. This tanked both our rating and finances.

New trucking paintjobs to more match our buses

Monthly report - December 2024 & January 2025

Both December and January saw a moderate amount of activity on our trucking side. 4 different people drove across both of our games. Like always, ETS 2 was the more popular one.

On our BCS side, we had an huge income boost as problably people had more time over the holidays and there was a BCS event taking place, which always helps.

Monthly report - November 2024

November was another quiet month for GO Group Virtual. Overall activity remained low. In BCS, we faced losses and decided to remove three unused maps to not keep paying money for unused maps, but do not worry we already are looking at adding another new map. On the ETS 2 and ATS side, participation was minimal, with only one active driver for each game.
