SCS Expands Its Horizons with the Upcoming Addition of Buses

SCS Buses Coming Soon – A New Era of Travel Begins!

Over the last few Months, we’ve experienced a noticeable drop in driving hours, convoy participation, and overall engagement within the VTC. While breaks are natural and real-life responsibilities always come first, it’s important we stay connected and transparent as a community.

Periods of inactivity happen in any organization, especially in a hobby-based one like ours. Whether it’s exams, work, or personal downtime, we understand. That said, we also want to make sure this doesn't become the norm. Our strength lies in our community spirit and shared passion for virtual trucking something too valuable to let stall.

No Official Package for TruckersHub API Available

Currently, TruckersHub does not offer an official Laravel package for easy integration into our VTC systems. This means that any integration with the TruckersHub API requires custom development, which can be time-consuming and requires a solid understanding of both the API and the Laravel framework. We’re working on a solution, but in the meantime, we suggest all developers proceed with caution when building such integrations. For now, we’ll continue to monitor the situation and explore any potential alternatives. We’ll keep our community informed on further developments.

TruckersMP API Compatibility with the Latest Laravel Version

As of the latest Laravel 12 release, the TruckersMP API is not fully compatible with the framework. This has caused challenges in integrating certain functionalities of TruckersMP into our VTC system. Unfortunately, no official updates have been released from TruckersMP to support the new Laravel version, leading to potential issues with real-time data fetching and user management. While we are working on a workaround, we advise all members and developers to be cautious when using this integration in Laravel 12. We’ll continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as soon as we have a viable solution.

Our Founder is learning

Our Founder has took it upon himself to learn Laravel, this will benefit the VTC in the near future, he has been doing it everyday for the last few weeks. This could be a game changer for us and make us more self sufficient, it will also bring new things our way and would also stop us relying on unreliable 3rd party services, which have proven to be problematic, giving us false promises etc. we wish our Founder luck and hope he can meet his goals, without to many problems, This would make us take a step above other VTC's who also rely on 3rd party services.

Cars and Idiots are ruining the C-D Road driving experience

The reason i drive on TMP is to drive with random people and meet new people to, when it comes to TMP their is only a few choices to do this, you either drive C-D road or you drive else where on an empty roads, or go on Promods and drive on Kirkenes quarry road, or drive on an empty roads too. Right now the C-D road is highly overpopulated with idiots in cars and people that think its acceptable to drive at 30-40kmh 19- 25 MPH and cause complete chaos, i have personally been stuck behind multiple people that do this but then when we reach the end of the C-D road and i can overtake them safely, they then speed up to reach the server speed limit of 110kmh 68 MPH, which means they were deliberately driving slow just to legally troll people. In my opinion this should not be allowed but TMP moderators don't do anything about this, so i have decided if i can't beat them i will join them so now i sometimes take a heavy load and intentionally go slow, i hope i do get banned for it so then i can start reporting others to get them banned too, as they deserve it. In real life this would be classed as impeding the flow of traffic, which is against the law, so why is it allowed on TMP?

Our Yorkshire Haulage Hub went down due to the costs the developer could not afford however the developer has now found a cheaper provider and says its should be back up soon

Thank you to everyone who wanted to support our VTC Analytics project, after discussions between us and you, we found the way how we can continue with this VTC Analytics project, I'm going to share some exciting news below!

Current plan is paying all of our invoices and get our services back online as soon as possible - all datas are going to be there and you are not going to lose any data, except the ones during this "outage" of our services - I will try to find some way how we can synchronize your data and jobs from this outage so you don't need to do it manually, however if we find some way then I will post it in the next announcement!

We want to implement all the accepted ⁠・suggestions and fix the bugs (⁠・bug-tracker) which you reported to us, but of course we want to implement a lot of different features and implement them in timely manner, posting and making updates frequently - for that reason we are going to hire DEVELOPERS who are going to join us, to our VTC Analytics team!

If you are interested, please send me a DM and we are going to contact you soon!

We are going to rebrand since we didn't do our best as we wished before and for that reason we want to speed up the processes and putting more efforts into implementing and adding new features!

We are expecting to get back our services within 1-2 days - for our @Clients and everyone who bought VTC Analytics Drivershub we are going to offer 1 month for free aka for March month!

Lastly I want to say that we found a way how we are going to make any profit and invest it back to this project, so we are going to be able to implement and add new features very effectively and also paying to Developers who are going to help us with this project.

The Abomination which is the Truckers MP petrol station on the C-D Road

Hello All, once again in a bid to solve traffic Jams on the C-D Road Truckers MP have had the bright idea to revamp one of the petrol stations, which yet again has created huge problems, although i see what the have tried to do the new petrol station has created massive lag as it is too popular and far to close to the C-D road, when you get near it the game has lag as it tries to load in all the other players and causing major crashes due to lag, i have personally been sent flying a few times due to this. Truckers MP know that in big cites with 50-100 People FPS and lag are a main issue which is expected, what they have done with the new petrol station is basically made their own miniature City which has the same problem except when you drive by it at 30-40 MPH you get a massive lag spike which causes issues when driving (even if you leave a big gap between the truck Infront of you) Once again TMP have Failed and made it worse in my opinion. what's even funnier is the main cause of the traffic jams is the railway crossing, which has went untouched lmao, all the have to do is disable the train coming. (Like they do on event servers) and that would easly solve the biggest cause of traffic on C-D Road

As many people will have seen Yorkshire Haulage hasn't really been active on Euro Truck or Truckers MP, Infact last year was the quietest year we have ever had, this is manly due to people being busy in real life, and also people playing different games. I personally have fallen out of love with Truckers MP due to enjoying better Lag free games, but another reason and the biggest reason for me not driving is when i drive i like to be around other humans so the only choice i have is to drive on the C-D road, which has unfortunately became to popular, and turned into a complete troll and lag Fest, you either sit in massive traffic jams which i hate or you drive elsewhere where their is no players which defeats the purpose of playing a multiplayer game. Hopefully Yorkshire haulage will be back on the roads soon, but the way it's looking i highly doubt it unless their is a major overhaul to improve the simulation experience

The New Volvo FH5 And FH6 and FH6 Aero

The New Volvos are brilliant, i especially like the interior, its modern and looks highly detailed too, the new 780HP engine is a beast too, could pull a house down lol i also really like the rear steer tag lift axle too and hope SCS adds it to all the other truck brands too, Right now it's only available for the 3 New Volvos and the 3 New Daf's. hopefully the new Volvo FH6 Aero will support the Volvo Tunning pack DLC soon as thats the only thing thats lets those Volvos down

Volvo FH4 Rework

The newly reworked Volvo FH4 in my opinion is beautiful, it add more realism to the game, the outside and inside have been heavily updated, what really caught my eye was the chassis have been made longer which is a great improvement as some DLC trailers were touching the exhaust stacks and wasn't realistic, in real life you can move the 5th wheel to make distance between the cab and trailer, unfortunately this feature is not in the game yet. The reworked Volvo FH4 means that soon we will have the newer model released into the game probably just after Christmas, many members of our community are looking forward to this, as new trucks add excitement into an old game, and keeps the game fresh.

Fastest update with support from latest update i have ever seen from TruckersMP.

Tuesday, November 26, 2024, SCS released 1.53, it only took TruckersMP developers 3 days to support the latest update. That's pretty impressive considering previous updates have taken quite some time.

Truckers MP have finally updated to 1.51

Members of the TMP community have been waiting for more than 3 weeks for TMP to Support the latest update (1.51)

I have been constantly looking on the TMP forum for any information on when TMP were going to release the update but all i found was complaints from members and TMP staff saying it will come when it comes, for me this is a bit annoying due to the complete lack of communication from the TMP Developers and the TMP Users (who pay them through Patreon and merch store etc) The least the Developers / staff could do is give us an estimated time for example 2 weeks, 1 month etc, but they could also keep us updated too for example we are 60% finished, we are 80% finished and we reckon it will be out within a week. Their definitely needs to be an improvement in communications, as without the players TMP would not exist or bring in over £10,000 per month just from patreon alone, the least they can do is communicate and keep the community updated better.

Anyway 1.51 is out and other than a few cities been updated by SCS and TMP's attempt at making the traffic better on the C-D road (which is the same if not worse) its still the same troll and lag fest lol https://youtu.be/65DQJLgxlo4?si=RxFzqoUEdy4cdu-c

The new Schmitz Cargobull Trailer Pack DLC

Many Members of our VTC have been enjoying the new Schmitz Cargobull Trailer Pack DLC, with a wide range of trailers and customisation, it adds to the game, although the trailers are basically all the same between brands its still nice to see truck related things added to a truck game, its a shame really that truckers MP only add car Tunning and rotating AI vehicles with Skoda interior lmao, TMP could add so much truck related items for example better beacons, spotlights, and even custom paint jobs and other tunning items, but i guess their main focus is and parts for their crappy cars, that trolls use to send trucks flying. at least the trolls can make their cars look cool before they terrorise innocent players.

As the title suggests Autumn is coming. This is the time where Yorkshire Haulage starts to look lively and drivers come out of the woodwork XD. Summer has been a very very quiet period at Yorkshire Haulage VTC and people have been enjoying there self with outdoor activities with the warm month's. Due to this there isn't much to post about news wise here. But we should hopefully look forward to the lively months and future updates from SCS software. I dont expect drivers to be constantly glued to Euro Truck Simulator 2 as that is not what i set up the VTC on the grounds of. The aim is to be layed back and the VTC WILL stick to this.
