În data de 26 iunie a fiecărui an, sărbătorim Ziua Națională a Drapelului. Decretat pentru prima oară ca simbol național după victoria Revoluției din 1848, tricolorul este, alături de stemă și imn, mărturie a identității poporului român, dar și un prilej de comemorare a eroilor care s-au jertfit pe câmpul de luptă.
