Before you even know the month of February has been flying by fast as it was not even there. A new month is coming fast and that will be March!

For the month March we would like to release a new feature to Aurora VTC but it is not confirmed yet if this will be possible. A new feature that we have worked on many months to it, and it is really close to completion. We really hope with the progression we put in to the next month, we are able to show it to our drivers!

Besides that, a new month means new drivers, new convoys, new challenges to go for! See you all on the road and drive safe <3

A new month has come, which means there's a new announcement.

For Driver Of The Month we have ljjung that drove a total of 298 752 km last month and we have Alpha27 and Antzz that both attended 21 convoys last month! Congrats to you all!

For Photo of the Month we have rosso770 who collected a total of 26 votes. Congrats to you!

We had over 90 Attendees in this convoy which is a new record for us! We hope to see you on our next one.

Our May private convoy was scheduled for today and it departed from Koblenz to arrive via the Calais tunnel in Hawes, in the center of the United Kingdom. We set off at 8pm CEST in the evening with 27 enthusiastic riders on a long ride that took a funny turn.

Salad, our tour guide, had "forgotten" that Calais had been "reworked" in Promods, so he no longer knew the entrance to the Calais tunnel. This forced a number of Aurorians to take the train. Finally we met again in Dover to drive together to Hawes.

All in all, this was a very nice and cozy private convoy! Thank you all for joining us and until the next one!

Update regarding jobs and leaderboards on Drivershub
In the beginning of the last month there was an update to the Drivershub that speeds up how long the delay is from the job being processed by the DH and showing up in the jobs list on the Dashboard. Before it was 1 minute delay, now that delay is 10-15 seconds. The leaderboards also had a similar update. Previously the delay was 10 minutes, but now when the leaderboards are updated on the backend you will see the changes in your browser within 10-20 seconds.

Update regarding server maintenance
The OS upgrade went faster than expected and everything should be back up and running by now. All jobs that were delivered during the maintenance have been retried and should have been picked up by the Drivershub A new Drivershub update was deployed at the end of the server maintenance, its mostly bugfixes and staff internal changes.

Maybe there will be some changes in a future drivershub update that is more noticeable for everyone, maybe it brings a refresh of something something. Time will tell

It's me again!

On October 25th we drove an interesting private convoy within Aurora VTC.
With HCT's we have defied and admired the Finnish nature and Sunwinbus has found a very nice route for this.
We left Kristiansand to arrive in Joensuu via Oulu and Jyväskylä.
The many roundabouts and narrow roads were a good challenge for the drivers and this certainly caused some congestion at times, but luckily everyone arrived at the end point and everyone in Joensuu was able to enjoy the fresh iced coffee from our HCTs.

Dear Aurora drivers, thank you for the nice ride and for the next ride there will also be a nice surprise!

It has been a while we have done something like this. It feels it is time again to do a little story telling ;).

Aurora is known now for more than 2,5 years. Specially in the beginning when we opened Aurora, we were just one of the little few. When time is passing by as it is passing by now, Aurora has been through a lot. Either when it was when someone leaving on an important position, we seemed always to fix it. That would be one of the raw qualities that Aurora has, that we always find a way to solve things when they go wrong. But if we look now where Aurora is standing, it is something we could not be dreaming off. The reason why it is still happening, has to due that we have a warm and fascinating family/community.

It is a challenge to keep a big family together, specially when everyone is different but also unique. However there is also a beauty behind that, as it opens worlds you never have heard off. It opens new ways of doing things, new ways of understanding things but also new ways of learning new things.

Next time I will tell a bit more about the amazing people we have in Aurora <3. Lets give a little bit of a preview of that ;)!

This change saw some drivers like the new additions to the trucks like the digital dashboard and some other lovely creature comforts which will hopefully make life on the road much easier.

We eagerly await to hear the verdicts on the trucks so that we can plan our next upgrades to our fleet.

Last week TruckersMP opened their celebrations for the upcoming 10th year anniversary of TruckersMP. For this occasion TruckersMP opened Haulie Island again with a new layout. New roads to discover and there is a new achievement to get! You have to deliver 10 jobs to Haulie Island to get the achievement on your TruckersMP Profile! It has to be specific TruckersMP related cargo as those are needed for the big celebration upcoming!

As always, Aurora is also contributing in this and many drivers of us have delivered many loads to Haulie Island. They were also surprised by the looks of the Island and they also do like the event for it.

Aurora Driver Createrdo, our number one media, took a small break on a small parkingspot and made a lovely picture of his new friend!

The convoy leader ensured everyone was briefed on the route, safety protocols, and the importance of sticking together. With engines rumbling, they set off, their convoy stretching out like a metallic serpent winding its way through the Polish countryside.

As they rolled through quaint villages and lush forests, camaraderie filled the air. Drivers exchanged banter over the radio, sharing stories of past hauls and favorite trucking tunes. Along the route, they encountered challenges typical of the road—narrow lanes and the occasional traffic jam—but with teamwork and precision driving, they navigated through each obstacle.

The landscape gradually transformed as they approached Gdańsk, with the scent of sea salt drifting through the air. Excitement bubbled among the convoy members as they caught glimpses of the Baltic Sea on the horizon. Finally, they arrived at their destination, greeted by the bustling port city of Gdańsk, with its historic architecture and vibrant atmosphere.

As they parked their trucks in unison, the sense of accomplishment was palpable. They had successfully completed their journey, not just as individual drivers, but as a united convoy, demonstrating the strength of teamwork and the spirit of adventure that defines Aurora VTC.

With memories made and friendships strengthened, the members of Aurora VTC bid farewell to Gdańsk, knowing that their next convoy adventure awaited, promising new experiences and challenges on the open road.

There has been another Aurora Convoy and I can't wait to tell you about it:

This time our journey from Fort Collins went through the Rocky Mountains National Park and Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre And Gunnison National Forests towards Durango. It was certainly a beautiful route and I think it would be even more beautiful if the route would be driven in the light as we have not been able to get much from nature.

Nevertheless, the ride was a beautiful ride despite the darkness and we would like to thank the truckers who traveled with us for the fun and support!

In 2 weeks a new Aurora Convoy will follow and we will go on European and French soil from the beautiful Nantes towards Montpellier.

Today our next Conspeed x Aurora aka Conrora was on paper! Today our convoy took place at Promods and we drove from Mosjoen to Sodankyla with a huge load of grapes. This was a very nice route with fun challenges for our riders and of course with the Conspeed riders there it is always a party. Thanks (Multumesc) for the fun and amazing ride and we'll see each other again in July because our next ride is already planned!

It is time again that I write something about a recent Aurora Convoy we organised on the roads of TruckersMP, and we did that with #51.

With an impressive turnout of 143 enthusiastic participants, the convoy showcased the passion for virtual trucking.

The convoy, which traversed picturesque landscapes and challenging routes, was a testament to the dedication and coordination of the Aurora VTC team. From the bustling cityscape of Podgorica to the serene coastal views of Rijeka, drivers experienced a diverse array of terrains and environments, making the journey both thrilling and memorable.

Last monday Aurora VTC attended the Prime Logistics convoy, which was held on the 6th of June. The convoy was departing from Glasglow over a scenic route to Glasglow, but to an other company. Our drivers really enjoyed the convoy. In general we like to attend the Prime convoys.
