As part of our Easter celebrations, one of our drivers took the wheel of the DAF and successfully delivered the first batch of Easter eggs, marking the beginning of our festive deliveries. This special run sets the tone for more exciting Easter activities ahead. The Easter Egg Hunt tradition in the TruckersMP community brings drivers together to deliver seasonal cargo and participate in fun convoy activities during the Easter period. These deliveries often involve transporting Easter-themed cargo across Europe while building community engagement and celebration. ​Today, African Logistics VTC drivers took to the roads in a visible display of solidarity, uniting to support women protesting against the widespread crisis of abuse and killing. Our fleet, usually defined by our standard VTC livery, was temporarily unified by the color purple, the universally recognized color symbolizing dignity, courage, survival, and the movement to end Gender-Based Violence (GBV). ​The Power of Purple on the Road ​The decision for our drivers and managers to wear purple, both in-game and during our operations, is a direct response to the powerful protests led by women across our communities. This is more than just a gesture; it is a public, professional statement of our VTC's commitment to standing shoulder-to-shoulder with every woman who has faced abuse, harassment, or violence this past year. ​We acknowledge the pain, outrage, and resistance of those speaking out against femicide and gender-based violence, and we fully support their demands for safety and justice. ​A Commitment to Change and Accountability ​African Logistics VTC believes that the logistics industry, and the entire community, has a role to play in ending this crisis. Our solidarity extends beyond awareness; it is an organizational commitment to promoting respect, empathy, and accountability. ​As a VTC, we are dedicated to helping nurture a generation that champions better resolutions than violence.
