Foreword - Office of the CEO

To our drivers, keep that foot on the gas and accomplishing even more than what you've already greatly achieved this past month! On behalf of Leadership, I am very proud of the work you have all accomplished so far and can't wait to see what you will continue to do in all your areas of expertise. Let's go into spring strong, and I'll see you At The Mile!

Welcome to the April Recap!

Hello and welcome to the April edition of ATM's Monthly Recap! April is a month of spring awakenings - whether that's the plant life in your garden, the wildlife in your parks, or the spark inside our drivers! We've seen our drivers come to life this past month, putting up some impressive statistics and making some valiant strides in all the right directions - we're so excited to share all of that and more with you!

Without any further ado from us, let's shake off the winter frost and see what At The Mile had to offer this month:

Driver Statistics

As the seasons changed, we saw our drivers make the transition from hefty winter coats to (potentially) shorts and t-shirts, cold and dark mornings for nice, relaxing sunrises, and got ready to hit the roads without the burden of snow. Regardless, the drive inside each of our amazing drivers has not gone without massive achievement - as you'll see here, our core team put up thousands of jobs and went countless miles to the edges of Europe and America to ensure your goods get to you on time and in one piece as quickly as possible.

Speaking on numbers, our drivers put up a whopping 1,114,391 kilometres! To put that massive number into perspective:

  • This represents 80 percent of the diameter of the Sun, or;
  • the combined diameters of over 87 Earths, or;
  • nearly 28 circumnavigations of Earth, or;
  • nearly 33,770 trips back and forth across the English Channel! This effort is an amazing example of what committed, motivated, and raring drivers want to contribute to their VTC, and we are so thankful for the work they put in!

All this tireless effort has led to a monthly revenue of $51 million dollars - a trend that puts us on track for an excellent fiscal year around the streets of TruckersMP! To all of our drivers, thank you for all you do - you are the core of our work, and you have made excellent brand representatives and comrades on the road!

Recognitions - DOTM & SOTM

As you can see by the efforts above, our team is made up of committed and driven drivers who make it their effort to represent ATM very well in the community. However, there are two individuals we'd like to highlight this month for incredible efforts in the community, on our staff teams, and for generally going above and beyond the call of duty in being the best trucker they can be.

Firstly, our Staff of the Month winner - Cronbo! Cronbo currently serves as a Community Moderator, Events Staff Member, and Media Team Member, as well as working in the Hazmat division as a driver coming up on 3 months of service at At The Mile. Leadership made particular note of Cronbo's contributions to Events and Media, ensuring all of our public events are well-routed and documented for all in the public to see. Outside of staff teams, Cronbo is a congenial and welcoming member of our community; we look forward to working with Cronbo in the future so that others may benefit from that same attitude! Thanks Cronbo!

In April, I was heavily involved in TruckersMP, specifically within At The Mile Logistics. During that month, the CEO of ATM and I designed a new route map. Following this, I took a Leave of Absence until the 27th of April. Upon my return, I was determined to become the staff of the month and began working very hard to achieve this goal. I attended every convoy, created a variety of route maps, remained active in chat, and put in a lot of effort. All of this hard work paid off as I was promoted to Community Moderator and achieved the title of staff of the month, making April the most productive month of my ETS2 career within VTC's, despite being on Leave of Absence for part of it. The community really helped me out with their feedback and I am very thankful to them also.

Nextly, ATM would like to congratulate our Driver of the Month - Farmer Rob! Coming up on just a month and a half of membership here at At The Mile, Farmer Rob has already been clocking up more than just miles - with 35 thousand Event Points, Farmer Rob has also been a readily able presence at all events inside or outside ATM! The monthly distance isn't anything to scoff at either - with 49,650 kilometres, we've seen remarkable dedication worth of the prestigious Driver of the Month award. Keep up the great work!

*Cheers ATM VTC! For those that didn't know, I accidentally joined the Discord by carelessly clicking a link, but then never left! I am grateful to have found the community. It has given me a new lease on love for the trucking games by allowing me to connect to people to drive with. I've also found an outlet to give something back by joining the events team staff. I plan to bring us convoys when more convenient for the US crew and stimulate more folks to drive together. Winning driver of the month is bittersweet if I am being honest; The only reason I get it this month is that David can't win every month! Ha! And so I take it with a grain of salt, though am happy for the effort to be recognized. I hope to see many of you on the road and convoy! I regularly post in truck together, and be on the watch for posts about weekly convoys, my "not a boring drive" series! *

This Month & Going Forward

This month has been a great month for At The Mile, and we have lots in store for you going forward. Throughout April, ATM hit some wonderful milestones -- including breaking the 200 drivers mark! We hope to see 250 be broken in the next month or two, and we're happy to see these new members helping us break these milestones!

Into May, we are working on bringing more Single Player modifications - such as Custom Skins for our divisions! Currently the Construction Division Skin is being worked on and we hope to have a preview very soon!

In May, ATM will also be celebrating 2 years of existence! It will be a memorable month as we remember the past 2 years of us being in the TMP community, as well as preparing for what more comes ahead in our bright future! On May 10th, we will celebrate with our 2 Year Celebration Convoy on ETS2; we invite everyone to come join and celebrate with us! With giveaways for attendees, drivers, and a build-up for ATM's second birthday on May 24th, it should be an exciting time for all who attend - a can't miss event for sure!

Finally, to our Drivers, stay tuned for a new Drivers Hub and subsequent systems for events going into May!

That's all from us for April - if you've read this far and you haven't joined, why not swing by our Discord and apply today? Come join an enthusiastic community, full of life and diversity, and make your mark on TruckersMP.

We'll see you all next month - in the mean time, safe driving!
