On 08/07/2023, we had our monthly GPE Private Convoy. For this one we went for an adventurous trip on ProMods! We had a turnout of 8 drivers, which is great considering we are on summer break. This convoy was going to be an exciting one, you didn’t want to miss it.

We started our journey in Mehamn, Norway to travel through numerous tiny, picturesque Norwegian villages and the visualise of ProMods. Upon arrival in Vardø, we took the ferry, and traveled to the town of Longyearbyen, Spitsbergen.

After taking a short break, it was time to begin the drive down to the Centre of the Earth! However, we got distracted and decided to explore the Seed Vault tunnels before we entered the maze of ProMods. The tunnels are a spaghetti mess of hidden roads on the map that only show up upon driving on them, with very few markings to show you the way. Many enter, very few make it out.

We admit, we did have a route for the tunnels, but that still didn’t prevent us from getting lost. Despite this, we got to explore the hidden secrets within the tunnel. The endless turns and hills made it challenging in trucks but after half an hour, we emerged from the other side.

Everyone enjoyed the small excursion onto Promods for July, and we hope to host more private convoys just as good as this one for our drivers in the future. If this has interested you, why not apply for GPE today!
