Private Convoy Report

On March 5, 2021, we had a private convoy event, where we traveled from Paris to Dijon, passing through some of the most beautiful and snowy landscapes in Scandinavia. We had a total of 18 participants, all from our own VTC. We want to thank everyone who joined us and made this convoy a fun and cozy experience. We had a lot of laughs and enjoyed the company of our fellow VTC members.

New Website Launch

We are proud to announce that we have launched our new website, which has a new design and features. VTC Members can access our custom drivers hub, where you can track your progress, statistics, and achievements as a virtual trucker. You can also view your personal profile, manage your fleet, and access various tools and resources to enhance your trucking experience. The custom drivers hub is integrated with TruckersHub, the ultimate platform for virtual trucking. You can learn more us on our website.

Bot and Discord Updates

We have also updated our bot and made some new changes in our Discord server. Our bot now has more commands and functions, such as giving you reminders, tips, and trivia about trucking. You can also use the bot to check your rank, stats, and rewards in the VTC. Our Discord server now has more channels and roles, such as a #suggestions channel where you can give us your feedback and ideas, and a #gallery channel where you can share your screenshots and videos.

April Convoy Announcement

We are excited to announce that our next convoy will be on April 13, 2024, where we will be driving from Lyon to Mannheim, exploring the beautiful landscapes of France and Germany. We have already opened the slot booking for this convoy, so if you are interested, please visit our event page and reserve your spot. The slots are limited, so hurry up and don’t miss this opportunity.

What a ride August has been! Our Odyssey VTC August Convoy 2024 was a resounding success, with over 180+ players joining us for an unforgettable experience. The event showcased the incredible spirit of our community as truckers navigated challenging routes, shared laughs, and forged new friendships along the way.

July Highlights

Our Anniversary Convoy on July 5th was a huge success! Even though we celebrated early due to other TruckersMP events, the turnout and enthusiasm were incredible. Special thanks to Drive Along (CC Team) for flawless coordination and to @uday and @Maciek (Event Team) for their meticulous planning. Your efforts made the event seamless and enjoyable for everyone.

We also welcome several new members who have joined us this month. We're thrilled to have you with us and look forward to many great journeys together!

First of all, the Steam Winter Sale is here, and you know what that means. It means you can finally buy those DLCs you've been eyeing for months, but were too cheap to get. Or maybe you can gift some games to your friends, if you have any. Or maybe you can just buy more games that you'll never play, because you're too busy playing TMP. Whatever floats your boat, we don't judge.

Upcoming Anniversary Convoy

We are thrilled to announce that we are planning a special convoy to celebrate our anniversary in July. We have been working hard to make this convoy a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone. Here are some details about the convoy:

Date: July 5, 2024 Time: 15:00 UTC (meeting), 16:00 UTC (departure) Start: Hamburg (Slots) End: Graz (Companies) Server: To be decided We have chosen this route because it covers some of the most scenic and diverse regions in Europe, from the coast of Germany to the mountains of Austria. We will also pass through some historical and cultural landmarks, such as the Brandenburg Gate, the Prague Castle, the Vienna Opera House, and the Graz Clock Tower. We hope you will join us on this epic journey and celebrate our anniversary with us.

We will open the slot booking for this convoy soon, so stay tuned for more information. We will also announce the prizes and giveaways that we have prepared for this convoy. We expect a high turnout for this convoy, so don’t miss this opportunity.

This decision comes after careful consideration, as both my career commitments and the increasing busyness of the higher management team have made it difficult for us to continue dedicating the necessary time and effort to keep Odyssey VTC running at its best.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to each of you for being part of this incredible journey. We've created lasting memories, shared countless convoys, and built a strong, supportive community.

As we gear up for the scenic June Convoy, we’ve hit a little roadblock. Unfortunately, we didn’t secure an event server this time. Why, you ask? Well, it seems there’s an official ATS convoy by TruckersMP scheduled for the same date and time.

But fear not! Our Odyssey spirit is unyielding. We’ll find a workaround, maybe hitch a ride with the virtual squirrels or invent teleporting trucks (hey, a trucker can dream, right?).

Stay tuned for updates, alternative routes, and a dash of creativity. The open road awaits, and we’re not backing down!
