We had four fun races in total. Three of them were done using trucks, and for the last one, we switched to Skoda cars just for laughs. It was a fun and memorable night for everyone!

Driver Of The Month and Staff Of The Month:

• Starting with Driver Of The Month Jirka, who's managed to log over 199,412 KM this month. Additionally, 75XP and the special driver of the month role for being the first Nightwish driver to break 200k KM in one month. A tremendous start to his Nightwish journey.

• Now time to move on to Staff Of The Month , We're sensing a theme here, it’s founder of Nightwish… RB1988 who managed to log over 80,000 KM in jobs and attend 9 convoys! Another excellent effort! You will also receive the special role and **50 XP!

• Speaking of great efforts.. We'd like to give a special mention to Thorekk who only joined a week ago but managed to attend 2 convoys and log over 27000km in logged jobs. A great start to your Nightwish journey.

To start, @︱Driver Of The Month it’s David Kim Who logged 92,523km and attended 9 convoys. A great effort, you will receive 500 xp and the special role.

Moving onto ︱Staff Of The Month it was a hard choice, but its Gummy! who attended 11 convoys and logged 343,898km, a outstanding effort. You too will receive 500 xp and the special role for the month.

Given the habit of train drivers going on strike more than they actually work, the British Public are turning to buses for their public transit needs. So, Nightwish Buses are here to help. Meeting at the Bus Station in London loaded up with our self loading cargo and transported them safely and securely, to Edinburgh, Scotland. We had an exteremely fun and memorable time rocking these buses through the narrow streets of Britain, reaching our destination safely with satisified customers.

Who are the chosen ones you may ask?

• Flynn! Part of the Official TrucksersMP Stream Team will be broadcasting our Events to all his amazing followers!

• JupiterSkyHype One of our wonderful drivers, will also be streaming many of our Private Drives, and events we attend!

• We currently have 32 VTC Members, down from a peak of 35 in March.
• We started with 18 drivers on January 1st, and have had 53 applicants in the mean time. This means that there is an applicant success rate of around 40%.
• Our most traveled driver is Stappat logging 360,000KM's so far.
• The top 3 drivers in the VTC have logged a combined 737,000KM's and completed 700 jobs.
• Our VTC has been present at 100 public convoys, and has hosted 20 private convoys for our drivers only.
• We are hosting our first ever public convoy on June 28th

• Starting with Driver Of The Month Dispo, who's managed to achieve over 55000 Points this month, gained by 18000 Event Points, 6000 Division Points, and 12000 Bonus Points!

• For Staff of The Month, We'd like to give a special mention to Thorekk who only joined a week ago but managed to achieve 20000 Event points, 54000 Division Points and a bonus of 7100 making him reach total of 120000 Points within the month of December. .

• Speaking of great efforts.. We'd like to give a special mention to Koolyc/Adam who only joined this month but managed to achieve 54000 Points, making him almost on par with the DOTM!

• Lastly We'd like to give a big thank you to all Nightwish drivers and public members who attended our 1 Year Anniversary Convoy, we appreciate you all and we hope you enjoyed it!

Here's whats happened in that time with updated statistics from our last update.

• We currently have 35 drivers, with a peak of 38 drivers in July.

• In total we have accepted 57 drivers out of 89 who have applied meaning we have a applicant success rate of 64%.

• Our most traveled driver is still stappat, logging 524,062km in jobs.

• Our top 3 drivers have logged 1,067,090km in 1,060 jobs.

• Our top 5 drivers have logged 1,502,993 in 1,402 jobs.

• Our top record for most kilometres in 1 month is currently 200,000km set by Jirka.

• We have hosted 2 public convoys, with another to come in January.

Planning, organising, and operating public convoys on Simulation & Event servers is nothing new for myself or Stappat, given we both gained extensive experience in our previous VTC's, but, never have we done this, with a VTC we own and run ourselves.

Luckily, that's where our friends at Need Convoy Control came in, to help us deal with the 30 VTC's myself and Stance had invited.

We peaked at 141 vehicles in the convoy, not a bad achievement for a VTC that is hosting its first event, and I am pleased to say that the event went incredibly smoothly, with very good feedback indeed. If you were one of the attendees, thank you very much for coming along!

Our next public convoy is in the planning stages for September, and it'll be a more subdued affair on ProMods. We hope to see you there!

In March 2024 Nightwish Trucking attended 22 convoys on ETS2, ATS and Promods. Nightwish Trucking attended 3 more convoys then in February 2024.

We attended: we attended 16 convoys in ETS2, of which 2 where in ProMods and we attended 4 convoy in ATS.

The average rating of the convoys for March 2024 is: 3.63. A slight drop down. In February it was 3.83, but overall still pretty good.

Firstly, congratulations and honourable mentions go to stappat, who for the second time in a row has been the first person in Nightwish's history to achieve his current rank of Prestige 2! That's 2 million points and 563,739 kilometres, in only 8 months - I think we might need to buy him some new tyres.

Another honourable mention goes to David Kim for managing the most kilometres of our non-staff drivers, a respectable 22,555km, which puts them in 5th place this month overall.

And now, to the awards ceremony! Firstly, our Driver of the Month: Jarda, for attending 9 convoys this month - the highest attendance of our non-staff drivers.

Staff of the Month goes to: burakokur_, for attending 17 convoys this month and giving stappat (also at 17 convoys) a good run for his money.

It's great to see newer faces popping up and giving us all a challenge, as it keeps things interesting and adds some extra motivation.

Finally, a quick reminder about Nightwish Trucking's next public convoy on the 25th of February, where we'll be cruising round the UK from Aberdeen to Liverpool! It's Christmas!

As Slade once famously proclaimed, it is Christmas again, which means an update to our VTC Logo. This year, with thanks to our External Media Member Kerem, we have a nice traditional design to embrace the festive time of this year.

I would like to take this time to thank you all, Nightwish Members, Staff, or not for your contributions this year, and to have a Very, Merry Christmas and a Happy and Safe 2026!

This is no small achievement, given we started 2025 expecting to host convoys once every few months, but decided to press ahead and do them monthly. I am pleased to say they have been well recieved, with good feedback at each event.

We have also been able to evolve from having contracted CC Teams, to our own, in a much quicker timescale than we expected, all due thanks to Ömer and to Gummy

The below is the musings of a 30-something dude who's got an idea in his head and wants rid of it.

Time and time again in my previous VTC's, I have wondered how fun would it be to actually own a VTC. Now, well over a year into being the owner of Nightwish Trucking, a successful, Validated VTC, I believe I finally have an answer to this.

It's alright, actually.

I work full time, 12 hour shifts, days & nights on a rotating basis, weekend, holidays, Christmas & New Year, on the railways in the UK. It is a very responsible role, which I can summerise easily enough by "keep the public and the trains separate from each other". In the quieter moments, it gives me time to catch up on some light VTC duties, such as activity checks, or adding divisions bonuses, or keeping in touch with the other management. But it is hard work sometimes, sitting at work, seeing everyone else having fun by driving, attending convoys, and having a laugh with each other, whilst I am set aside from all this, keeping the country moving. Do I feel resentful. Sometimes. Do these feelings go away at payday? Definitely.

Another thing is, my absolute main passion in life, is traveling. I travel a lot. Almost 50 flights last year, for example, 45 before that, 40-something before that.You can leave your green agenda at the door. Luckily, a lot of aircraft are fitted with wifi these days, at least, those decent airlines are. sideways glance at Ryanair. A new side effect, discovered around October, if planning how to keep on-top of Game Moderation work. I can't disclose too much here, but this has needed a lot more planning than I could ever have predicted.

Traveling, owning a VTC, being a Game Moderator....hard work.

Oh, look, another ping. Another issue to sort out. Lets have a quick meeting to discuss what to do. Agree, talk about it. Sorted.

Oh, another ping. A new application. This is one of the more enjoyable events, actually. Meeting someone new, talking with them, accessing them, and seeing how they fit in with the rest of the VTC. A positive feeling that I never knew could be possible until I witnessed 10+ friends all driving in the color scheme I had helped create, using the VTC name I had a hand in creating. Funny, really.

I certainly wouldn't have got to this stage if it wasn't for the awesome team I have along side me, every day.

• Stappat, or bossman to be precise
• Stance, or technical man, who's job it is to make this old man understand how things work, technology wise
• Gummy, our straight-talking, no nonsense Event Manager
• Foxxy, our HR & Recruitment dude who helps us only take on the very best
• And finally, all of our amazing, friendly, brilliant drivers (There is too many to link here)

To that end, working 12 hour shifts, coming home, doing TMP Staff, chilling with my VTC members, having some damn good laughs, attending convoys, enjoying life.....yep, definitely worth it.

We have expanded our driver base from 18 to 25, have attended 7 public convoys, held 2 private convoys, and attended one truck show.

It was at the aforementioned truckshow where we had our first major success as a VTC. We attended Ghost Express' first Truckshow on ATS, where we were awarded with 3 awards. For further details, please see the #nightwish-achievements section on our Discord

Our drivers have also been hard at work clocking up the kilometers on jobs. Standing in 1st position with over 55,000km's so far is Stappat with SiGHD a close second with just over 50,000KM's. Shulgin takes 3rd spot with 37,000km's.

For a VTC that is only 2 weeks old, we think we're doing pretty good so far, and things are only going to get better and better.

Blimey, we're already approaching the half way point of the year. Doesn't feel like 10 minutes ago, we were all having to wrap up outside in the cold. Wait, I am from the UK, it was 10 minutes ago.

Anyway, lets not get bogged down in the weather. Its now June, which means we can now announce Driver & Staff of the Month for May.

I can proudly announce that our Driver of the Month for May, clocking up almost 60,000KM's and attending 15 events is...... @00perator ! A very well done to you Sir, and please accept your well deserved bonus XP.

On to Staff of the Month. A very well deserved 500 XP is making its way towards @stappat for attending 16 convoys and recording almost 50,000 KM's

An honourable mention go to @gremlintr for recording almost 60,000KM's as well, and attending 8 convoys, a very impressive statistic given they only joined Nightwish part way through May.

Oh, PS: Our convoy is tomorrow!

It's heating up, summer has definitely arrived (in the Northern hemisphere anyway, sorry Southern people!), everyone is chugging ice creams like they're going out of fashion, arguing if SPF50 is worth it, and debating the merits of fans versus the cost of air conditioning units.

Meanwhile, the heat in Nightwish is definitely on, for in June, the top 5 drivers logged over 340,000KM's, that is enough to go around the Earth 8 times, and it would get you 90% of the way to the Moon. If there was a road up there, anyway.

Enough of my rambles, time to announce the Driver & Staff of the Month!

It's been hard to chose, but, Driver of the Month is awarded to @mego0748 for attending 15 convoys & logging almost 60,000km's. A great effort!

An honourable mention is given to @gummy.__ who joined us half way through June, and has already recorded 78,000KM's, and been present at 8 convoys.

Staff of the Month for June has to remain with @stappat, who has recorded almost 85,000KM's and attending 11 convoys in June. As always, well done Stappat.
