We are very close to being finished with the VTC overhaul, huge thanks to Jake, as this couldn't have been done without him.

The overhaul:

We are bringing you the most realistic and intricate VTC in all of TruckersMP, we're talking:

• A virtual driving license
• Driving tests -> a driver theory test for ADR / Hazmat cargo + in cab exams.
• professional communication.
• a complete refresh of the discord server.
• all drivers are to comply with real world laws -> Driver compliance will be checked and properly disciplined in the form of points on their license which can lead to a driving suspension or at most removal from the VTC as a whole.
• A whole website for drivers -> Includes a dashboard, emails, performance / driving assessments, your digital license (Real names are optional) and much more

As for when the whole thing will be fully up and running again, we still can’t give a solid estimate. There are a few things that need work, and we’d rather get it right than rush it. That said, if things continue at the current pace, my own guess would be somewhere around two to three months. Maybe even sooner if all goes well.

I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out to share that our group owner, Johnny, has stopped responding to our messages and is no longer able to manage the VTC. Their vision and dedication have been the heart of this community, and their absence is deeply felt.

Before this, Johnny entrusted me with the responsibility of leading this group forward. Honouring their request, I will be stepping into the role of group owner to ensure our community continues to thrive as a place of connection and support.

We’ll keep you updated on any further developments. For now, thank you for your understanding and continued support as we navigate this transition together.

As most know, the VTC has been temporarily closed, the reason this is still ongoing is because two weeks simply isn't enough to make the changes we need to make and the founders are too busy to manage the VTC. Our drivers are not obligated to stay, it is up to them if they want to stay with us or seek a new VTC.

What to expect:

The duration of the break will likely be 3+ months, when Transit-X returns you can expect more advertising, partnerships and events on the regular.

We are having a shutdown on the Transit-X Discord for an unspecified amount of time. Behind the scenes HR is working on upgrading the server, increasing standards by refreshing many channels, updating bots and enforcing heavier moderation to crack down on toxicity.

What will this change?

It will make us a more professional VTC, so less banter and joking between members. Everyone can still have their craic but it's to be toned down to a friendlier level. There will also be no more drama inside the server. The server will be easier to navigate and look better with the channel and bot changes.

Our previous founder, Johnny is stepping back from his role to work on his life and personal matters. The person taking his role is James, he has been entrusted to lead this VTC and keep Transit-X on the right track to expand as a VTC.

Why James?

James works professionally as a truck driver, so he knows the ins and outs of real life logistics and is very passionate for TruckersMP. James has been part of the VTC for some time and has shown great leadership potential. For these reasons, it is believed that he would be the best fit for this role.

To sum it up, Johnny has entrusted James with Transit-X while he is busy, James was chosen because of his reliability and career path.

On other notes, we've been hard at work with the making of company and partner related convoys. We are also potentially looking to branch out to making partnerships with small American owned VTC's based in ETS2

• A bot developer for Transit-X, Sharky has retired from the VTC, wishing all the best to him.

• We reached a major milestone of 50 drivers! That's another step towards verification for Transit-X and marks a huge jump for the VTC

There have been a number of changes and events happening within our VTC lately, so we wanted to give everyone a proper rundown of what’s been going on. Some ups, a few bumps along the road, but overall we’re moving forward.

• There were some issues with our drivers hub recently. Unfortunately, it went down for a bit, which has left us unable to pull accurate statistics and data on our drivers, so we are unable to upload our drivers of the month.

• There has been a temporary director swap to keep the server in order, this swap is in effect because the owner Johnny is in college, where he needs to focus on his work. He does not have much time to also run the VTC. The people taking temporary charge are our general managers, they are being entrusted to run the VTC while he is busy. This will remain in effect until the 25th of May

• There was a brief pause to all VTC operations for a small time, but now we are back up and running to get this show back on the road.

• It hasn't only been issues and disruption, on a high note we have achieved 45 drivers, that on its own is a milestone.

The convoy: It was a big event and a huge achievement for our VTC as a whole. The route was from TruckersMP HQ to Innisbruck We had a massive 31 different VTC's attending our convoy and over 130 drivers, including 8 of our own. Many Transit-X drivers couldn't attend the convoy due to one of two things; Having something more important going on or just plain hammered! Aside that, the convoy went very well, everyone was well behaved and remained professional. Thank you all.

What Has Changed and Been Added:

• New Look – The website now features an updated design with a more polished and professional look. The modernised layout enhances readability and overall user experience.

• Easier to Navigate – Viewers can now find the information they need easier, thanks to a well-organised menu and page design.

• Animations – To bring the site to life, subtle animations have been created for a touch of class.

• Contact Details – A section for contact information has been added, making it easier for people to reach out for inquiries and partnerships

• Company Statistics – A new statistics section has been added to give an insight to our VTC's growth and stats.

Behind the scenes, another update is in the works, the update is looking to add more to the website, such as the history of how Transit-X was founded, pictures and more.

This marks a huge leap for our VTC, it's been a hard push since November of last year to achieve validation. Now we are hosting our first public convoy! We are very thankful for every single one of our drivers, you got us here. We are striving to become Ireland's number one VTC. 1. Achieving verification.

One of our main goals for 2025 is to achieve official verification. This milestone is an important step for us, as it represents the hard work and dedication put in by our entire team.

2. Building friendships and bonds with other VTC's.

Community is the heart of this VTC so it's in our best interests to create friendships with other VTC's and ingratiate ourselves into the TruckersMP community.

3. Becoming Ireland's number 1 choice of VTC.

We would love to become established as the leading VTC of Ireland, our community is full of pride for our country and reaching the top spot would be a major achievement.
