MANAGEMENT MILESTONES - A massive shoutout to Jayydog and Lucy for their hard work and dedication—they have officially progressed to the Gold Ranks of our Management Team!

Requirements marked with * have exceptions. Our human resources team enforce these requirements to their discretion. Management will not hear cases where these rules have been enforced in said way.

• Mustn't have been in four or more VTCs

Before joining, an applicant must not have been a member of four or more VTCs within the six months period before applying. If the applicant has been in OnlyTangs two or more times during that same six-month period, they cannot reapply until eight months have passed since the first of those memberships.

• Mustn't have any §2.1 or §1.2 bans within a two year period

An applicant must not have any active, or inactive, bans for breaching rules §1.2 or §2.1 within a two year period from the date of them applying.

• Mustn't have any §2.9 bans

An applicant must not have any active, or inactive, bans for breaching rule §2.9. This excludes bans that weren't issued because of grossly offensive language. Applicants with permanent bans can never apply, whereas, applicants with temporary bans under six months in length, can once said ban has expired (i.e. they're no longer actively banned).

• Mustn't leave within 2 weeks*

An applicant shouldn't leave the VTC within two weeks of acceptance. If they do, they risk being blacklisted for up to six months. If, the applicant leaves for perfectly admissible reasons, this rule does not apply. Additionally, this rule does not apply if the applicant is removed - in this event, a separate punishment may be imposed.

• Must have more than 10 hours on an applicable game*

An applicant must have 10 or more hours on Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator, or across the two. If for whatever reason, an existing driver has to change accounts for a reason within TruckersMP's rules, this rule does not apply to any new applications they should make, provided they haven't actually left on their first account.

This is an update from us here at OnlyTangs - see below for all the latest that's happened.

Today, we have launched the beta version of our own custom job tracker. After months of development, It's refreshing to see it finally out and available to our drivers. Not only does this new tracker offer us extreme and varied customisation, it helps us streamline our internal processes in ways we could never feasibly do with an on-the-shelf alternative. For example, it allows us to automate the previously tedious task of awarding driver ranks to drivers, thus freeing up our Human Resources team to take care of other, more important, tasks. It also allows us to, in the future, create incentives or delivery challenges for drivers to compete against each other for different benefits. An example of which could be a 2x mileage bonus on any job taken from Calais.

Releasing our tracker hasn't been the only event recently, however. We've been very pleased to welcome back JaҷҷDog & lucymichellee who are currently doing a fantastic job at improving our human resources team and general internal policies. We've also promoted Lubie_Placki098 to Senior Event Manager with the aim of a) attending more events as a company and b) hosting more events. From these promotions, we've built a strong team that can help propel us to our goal of creating a VTC that everybody wants to be apart of.

While this news post is brief today, it's just the start of things to come. We hope to start doing posts much more frequently. This will start with two monthly public news posts and a quarterly newsletter style post for our members. This change is to ensure that we're actively communicating with our community and also showing others out there exactly what we're up to. The exact shape these posts will take is still being thought out, but rest assured, they will be full of exciting information and updates about the progress of the continued changes we're making to improve OnlyTangs.

After taking some time to review the situation and discuss things internally, we wanted to share a small update regarding the staff team. these decisions are never taken lightly, and we always try to focus on what is best for the community and the long-term stability of the team.

We look for people who can stay calm, communicate properly, and handle situations without creating unnecessary drama. having a respectful attitude, knowing how to talk to others, and being able to solve issues in a normal and fair way is extremely important for us. quality, consistency and teamwork will always be more important than rushing decisions.

From the very beginning, our goal has always been to create a space where drivers can come together, have fun, and share their passion for trucking. Whether you’ve been here since the early days or just joined recently, every single one of you has played a role in making this VTC the success that it is today. Staff roles, responsibilities, and hierarchy have been fully reworked and clarified. The former Community Manager and General Manager roles have been redesigned into Chief Community Officer and Chief Administrative Officer. Event planning and internal event structure have been improved for smoother convoys and better organization. New staff members have joined the team - welcome aboard! This rework isn’t massive, but it’s an important step toward making OnlyTangs more organized and consistent moving forward.

And yes… there might be something big coming up for OnlyTangs. Stay tuned.
