1. Professional Conduct Respect: All drivers must treat fellow team members, clients, and other road users with respect at all times.

2. Safe Driving Road Safety: Always adhere to road safety laws, speed limits, and regulations. Your safety, as well as that of others, is our top priority.

Cargo Handling: Ensure that all cargo is securely loaded and unloaded according to safety standards. Properly checking your load is essential before embarking on a journey.

Rest and Breaks: Take regular breaks to ensure that you are driving at your best. Never operate your vehicle when fatigued. If you're tired, stop and rest.

3. Punctuality and Reliability Timely Deliveries: All drivers are expected to meet delivery deadlines unless unforeseen circumstances occur. Notify the dispatcher as early as possible if you anticipate a delay.

Scheduled Departures: Stick to scheduled departure times. Consistent delays can disrupt the whole logistics chain and affect customer satisfaction.

4. Vehicle Maintenance Truck Maintenance: Drivers are responsible for ensuring that their assigned trucks are kept in good working condition. Perform regular checks on tires, brakes, fuel levels, and lights.

Reporting Issues: If any vehicle issues arise during a trip, immediately report them to the fleet manager. Do not continue to operate a vehicle if it’s unsafe.

5. Cargo Integrity Load Inspections: Before every journey, inspect your load for any damages or potential issues. If anything seems problematic, report it immediately.

Careful Handling: Handle all cargo with care, ensuring it is transported safely and securely without causing damage.

7. Technology Use GPS and Navigation: Use the provided navigation system to stay on the best route and ensure accuracy. Avoid using mobile phones or other distractions while driving.

Tracking and Reporting: Follow all tracking protocols set by the company. Your driving progress, mileage, and cargo information may be tracked for efficiency.

8. Personal Conduct Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance, including the company uniform when appropriate. A neat and presentable appearance reflects well on Lochside Logistics.

Substance Use: The use of alcohol, drugs, or any substances that impair your ability to drive is strictly prohibited. Anyone found in violation will face immediate suspension or termination.

9. Customer Relations Customer Service: Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with clients or third parties. Provide excellent customer service at every stage of the delivery process.

Problem Solving: If issues arise with a delivery, handle them calmly and professionally. Contact dispatch for support if needed.

10. Compliance and Reporting Adherence to Rules: All drivers must comply with the rules and guidelines set forth by Lochside Logistics. Any violation of these rules will result in disciplinary action.

Incident Reporting: Any accidents, damages, or significant delays must be reported immediately to the management team.
