・ Every road connects more than just places… ve ETS2 topluluğunda bu söz bir kez daha anlam kazanmaya başladı. Son günlerde SCS Software’in paylaştığı teaser tarzı mesajlar ve köprü temalı görseller, birçok oyuncunun aklına tek bir ihtimali getiriyor: Türkiye haritası geliyor olabilir mi?

Toplulukta uzun süredir konuşulan en büyük beklentilerden biri zaten Türkiye’nin Euro Truck Simulator 2 dünyasına eklenmesi. Özellikle Avrupa’dan doğuya doğru uzanan yeni rota genişlemeleri düşünüldüğünde, oyuncular bu ihtimali oldukça heyecan verici buluyor.

Forumlarda ve blog yorumlarında sıkça dile getirilen bir konu ise Türkiye’nin oyuna tek parça halinde değil, aşamalı şekilde eklenebileceği fikri. In recent days, teaser-style posts and bridge-themed visuals shared by SCS Software have led many players to one question: could a Turkey map expansion be on the way?

The biggest long-standing expectation among the community has been the addition of Turkey to the Euro Truck Simulator 2 world. Especially with the recent trend of expanding routes further east from Europe, players see this possibility as an exciting next step.

Across forums and blog discussions, one of the most common ideas is that *Turkey may not be added as a single map expansion, but rather in phases. Considering the scale of the map and the level of detail required, many players believe a staged approach would be more realistic. The most frequently mentioned scenario suggests starting with the western regions, particularly Thrace and surrounding areas, followed by gradual expansions over time.

Of course, there is currently no official confirmation or release date from SCS Software. All of these discussions remain community speculation based on observed hints and patterns. Still, even the possibility alone has been enough to generate significant excitement among ETS2 players.

From a gameplay perspective, many players believe that adding Turkey would not only introduce new roads, but also significantly expand long-distance logistics routes between Europe and the Middle East. New delivery routes, diverse terrain and climate conditions, and expanded transport networks all add to the appeal of this potential expansion.

・ 1.59 Update ile birlikte Euro Truck Simulator 2 ve American Truck Simulator için “Yola Çek (Tow to Road)” özelliği ekleniyor. Bu yeni sistem, özellikle devrilme, yol dışına çıkma veya sıkışma gibi durumlarda oyunculara hızlı bir şekilde yeniden trafiğe katılma imkânı sunmayı hedefliyor.

・ With the 1.59 Update, both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator are receiving a new feature called “Tow to Road”. This system is designed to provide players with a quick recovery option in situations such as rollovers, running off-road, or getting stuck.

From a player’s perspective, this feature stands out as a quality-of-life improvement, especially during convoy sessions. Previously, using the service option could disrupt routes and cause delays for other drivers. With the new system, players can return directly to the last safe road position for a small fee and continue driving without significant interruption.

The feature can be accessed through the service menu using the “Tow to Road” option (default key: F7). It only affects the truck itself; any attached trailer will remain at its current location if detached. Additionally, to prevent potential abuse, the option may become unavailable if the vehicle is too far away from its last valid road position.

The existing “Service” tow feature remains in the game and continues to be used for major damage situations. The new “Tow to Road” option is intended for minor incidents, recovery after accidents, and situations where the vehicle becomes stuck.

・ One of the standout elements of the rework is the decision to keep the A10 Zuid ring road above ground. Despite ongoing tunnel construction in real life, the team chose to reflect the current real-world layout based on their research, resulting in a unique highway experience passing beneath skyscrapers. This design choice highlights the city’s modern skyline.

・ Although direct vehicle access to the historic city center is not possible, key locations representing Amsterdam have been carefully selected. With updated modeling standards, both new and refreshed landmarks are intended to bring more variety to the city’s skyline. Despite its dense urban layout, preserving Amsterdam’s identity remains one of the main goals of the rework.

・ The overhaul is not limited to the city itself. The IJmuiden ferry terminal is also being upgraded with a higher level of detail and quality. Serving as an important connection between the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, the terminal is expected to see increased use in future updates, especially with the planned UK rework. Kamyon ve Otobüs Sürücülerine Selam!

・ TruckersMP ile Heavy Vehicles Turkey arasında yapılan yeni partnerlik, uzun süredir oyunda otobüs görmek isteyen oyuncular için gerçekten dikkat çekici bir adım oldu.

・ 2011’den bu yana ETS2 için modlar geliştiren ve özellikle Türk topluluğunda kendini kanıtlamış olan Heavy Vehicles Turkey’nin bu projede yer alması, beklentileri doğal olarak yükseltiyor. Çünkü bu sefer karşımızda basit bir ekleme değil, TruckersMP’ye doğrudan entegre edilen gerçek bir şehirlerarası otobüs sistemi var.

・ Daha önce otobüs sürmek isteyenler için DBus World gibi üçüncü parti araçlar kullanılıyordu. Yeni sistemle birlikte buna gerek kalmayacak. TruckersMP, kendi altyapısı üzerinden çalışan bir otobüs hattı sistemi sunmayı hedefliyor. Yani rotalar oyun içinden oluşturulabilecek ve her şey doğrudan multiplayer deneyimine dahil olacak.

・ The new partnership between TruckersMP and Heavy Vehicles Turkey stands out as a truly exciting step for players who have been wanting to see buses in the game for a long time.

・ Heavy Vehicles Turkey, which has been developing mods for ETS2 since 2011 and has proven itself especially within the Turkish community, being involved in this project naturally raises expectations. This time, we are not looking at a simple addition, but a real fully integrated intercity coach bus system built directly into TruckersMP.

・ Previously, players who wanted to drive buses had to rely on third-party tools such as DBus World. With the new system, this will no longer be necessary. TruckersMP aims to offer its own bus line system running entirely on its own infrastructure. This means routes can be created in-game, and everything will be directly integrated into the multiplayer experience.

・ The coach bus to be added:

・ 13 meters in length

・ 41-seat capacity

Designed for intercity travel as a proper coach bus.

What can we expect as players?

・ The bus will be automatically downloaded via the TruckersMP launcher, just like any other update

・ We will be able to create and drive routes directly in-game

・ Passengers will wait at bus stops and board the bus one by one

・ Statistics such as punctuality will directly affect our earnings

・ SCS Software is expected to introduce a similar system as a DLC in the future. However, TruckersMP’s goal here is not to copy that idea, but to deliver a unique system with a strong multiplayer focus. Additionally, no DLC will be required to use this feature.

・ In short, it looks like TruckersMP is moving beyond being limited to convoys and cargo hauling, offering a different and refreshing style of gameplay. Development is ongoing, and more details will be shared in the future.

・ As we leave 2025 behind, with the Christmas and New Year spirit in the air, it’s hard not to notice how full and memorable this year has been for us drivers. Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator made the time we spent behind the wheel even more enjoyable with new content and fresh experiences throughout the year.

・ The map expansions added over the year significantly changed the routes for everyone who enjoys long-haul driving. The Nordic Horizons DLC, in particular, became one of the most unforgettable experiences of the year for many drivers, with its snow-covered northern roads, fjord landscapes, and challenging winter conditions. On the American Truck Simulator side, the addition of the Missouri, Iowa, and Louisiana states expanded the map further, opening up new cities, long highways, and fresh routes to explore.

・ There were also plenty of improvements on the cargo side. Thanks to the Forest Machinery and Krone Agriculture Equipment DLCs, cargo variety increased, making convoys feel more diverse and lively. Alongside these additions, the updates released throughout the year made both games more stable, smoother, and more enjoyable to drive.

・ One of the most talked-about additions this year was undoubtedly the snow mode. Introduced just in time for the Christmas season, this feature completely changed the driving experience. Snow-covered roads, slippery surfaces, longer braking distances, and reduced visibility demanded much more focus behind the wheel. Deliveries in the northern regions, in particular, truly captured the feeling of winter driving and added a unique atmosphere to the game. Honestly, night drives through the snow became some of the most enjoyable moments of the year.

・ You should have basic knowledge of save editing.

・ Owning all map DLCs is mandatory.

Team applications are handled through our Discord community. If you believe you meet the requirements above, you can join our Discord server and contact us there.

In certain cases, we may show limited flexibility — for example, regarding playtime, account age, or save edit knowledge — if your overall attitude and community behavior are positive.
