Safeguarding Our Patreon Donations

First and foremost we'd like to say a huge thank you to those people who have already pledged on Patreon. This will make a big difference and will allow us to continue to be validated, verified and to continue operating.

Unfortunately, we have had to address some false rumours by providing the necessary evidence to counteract the claims. So we've recognised there's a potential for issues to arise.. How will we safeguard this to prevent any further similar issues occurring? Over the coming days, we are going to integrate some measures.

Our Measures

As of now, I will be opening a finance department which will consist of two staff members (one of which will be a Patreon) to oversee the entirety of the business accounts and ensure that the donations are being used appropriately. We hope that this will provide security, but scrutiny where potentially needed.

We will also be keeping an in-depth, detailed and photographed log of every single transaction into and out of our accounts so we can provide this evidence when necessary - overseen by the finance department.

We will also be producing monthly financial reports which can be viewed by the public. This will detail the spending of our donations for that month, and what we are doing with any left over.

We believe that by being open and honest, we can maintain a level of trust and set aside any anxiety and hesitation some of our supporters may have.

While the rumours are indeed false, we are glad that we have been able to implement measures to prevent any further situations of this kind.
