Hello beautiful drivers!

Today I bring an announcement which may seem negative, but in reality I'm very excited about what's to come! Yesterday Stride Haulage stepped down from the verification program to the validated status. For the past 2 months, we have struggled keeping up on the event side of things. This is mainly due to staff vacancies and LOA’s. We have been in over our heads and have not had enough resources to bring all of our departments up to a satisfactory level. It's no secret that almost all of our time has been spent on our DriversHub and website rework project and it has dragged out a tiny bit and kept us a bit stuck. We are finally starting to reach a level where we can start to release the first update on the DriversHub!

Attending events should be fun. We don't want to force our drivers to attend events and we have felt we drifted over in that direction lately. Strict or some might say unrealistic activity requirements from TMP forced us to turn to desperate measures if we wanted to keep up. This resulted in us stepping down from the verified program. Trying to keep up with our activity requirements would just have made our situation worse I'm sure! This change will allow us to focus on what's important, the individual driver experience. Stride Haulage has and will continue to be a place where we can have fun and enjoy virtual trucking in the best possible way! We have a staff team that only cares about making a fun experience for our members. We enjoy making something people like and we will put all of our efforts into that! We are gonna use this time to look into how we make the best possible version of Stride Haulage and we need your help! Stride Haulage is not mine, it's yours, you decide what Stride Haulage is. We are lucky to have a strong team and supporters making us capable of creating a lot of nice content for our drivers, we just want to hear what you want! This is my urge for you to speak your mind, so we can improve where it's needed!:)

We are currently working on a new event system on the DriversHub, that will make attending events easier and more fun than ever before! Together with the new event system, we are also reworking how our ranking and point system is functioning. We will add more ranks and your rank will be based on points instead of being limited to how many Kilometers or miles you log. Driver of the month will also get more attention and the system will also be changed to a point based one! We are also drastically decreasing the number of events we are attending a month to 10 events. This makes us able to focus more on the events we are attending and will hopefully motivate drivers to attend more events! We lost ourselves a tiny bit in the VTC race, and we will use this time to really establish what Stride Haulage is! I think it might involve focusing a bit more on the Scandinavian trucking style! We do haul in the Scandinavian way at the end of the day
