Hello everybody!

I hope everyone is well and is healthy in these difficult times with the COVID-19. The whole world has been effected by this and it feels very weird. Let’s hope that soon there will be better times again so everybody can live their normal life again, stay inside and stay safe!

A couple of weeks ago we brought you all the great news that our Tuesday convoys were getting supported with event servers. Ever since then the convoys have been great and have become even more popular than before. Where we normally got around 100 people, we are now closer to 200 people which is crazy to see. It means a lot that everybody loves and enjoys our convoys.

Because of this, our convoys are no longer normal weekly convoys but they have become weekly events instead. Since the event server, the attendance is now between 150 - 250 people and we as management have thought about some improvements in order to treat it more like events instead of a normal convoy. This means that there will be a few changes that make the experience even better for everyone.

First, I want to start with the biggest change and that is that we are now open for external help which means you are not required to be a RLC Member in order to help us with our events. You can be in a different VTC or not, but everybody can help us. We renamed our CC Team to Event Team so others can help us out as well. Because of the enormous attendance we need more people to help RLC with our events such as Convoy Control and it is very important and much appreciated.

If you are interested in joining and helping the RLC Event Team, please contact Velo our Event Manager and he will look if you are suited to join our Event Team together with the rest of RLC management. We want serious and professional people that are active on our convoy days.

From now on we are also going to have a leaving order. We will start to call out VTCs when they are allowed to leave in order to prevent chaos. The final thing what we are going to change is that it can happen that we tell certain VTCs to park at a different company in order to decrease lag and to get a smooth leaving order. VTC Leaders please listen and follow our instructions closely, and inform you drivers as then everything goes a lot better and smoother for everyone.
