The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines the word "goal" as follows:

: the end toward which effort is directed :

Each of us have goals in life, something for which we aim and direct our attention and time to achieving. It is important to set goals for yourself whether they be daily, weekly, or yearly. As we begin the final week of 2020, we at LadyBear Trucking reflect upon the goals we achieved, the milestones surpassed, friends made and the hope that 2021 brings even better things. As a whole, our goals at LadyBear Trucking are simple but not easily obtained. Have fun, growth through recruiting, be competitive in miles month after month in both ATS & ETS2.

In this article I will focus on the last goal: competitive in miles. Through the use of a third party app called TrucksBook.eu the miles we drive are logged and then summed together with other LadyBear Truckers. We have access to individual stats, such as miles driven, loads delivered, etc and also company stats so that we can view our own progress in relation to other companies. During 2020 we became the first company to ever be in the top 5 for both ATS & ETS in the same month. We will finish 2020 in the top 15 in ETS and top 3 in ATS. And just for fun in December we decided to be the first company ever to be in the top 3 for ATS in speeding and non speeding miles.

LadyBear Trucking is a consistent and a familiar sight as one of the top companies for ATS in terms of non-speeding (80mph and below) miles. We take a lot of pride being there. We drive hard for it. As December 2020 began, the goal for the month (and every month) was to have fun and to be competitive. As the miles began to accumulate our pace quickened and new goals were created. We set out to exceed our companies personal high miles for a month. Then after that was obtained, with plenty of time in the month for more, we reached higher and our new goal was to exceed the most miles that any company has ever done in a month and this was accomplished with still one week to go so we set our goal even higher to reach 6 million miles!
