We hope everyone had a great start to the month! We are well underway in October so let’s take a look back at what happened in the last one. In this post, we will cover our hosted convoys, updates to the Drivers Hub, changes within our Drivers and Team Members, and a breakdown of last month’s statistics.

Golden Phoenix Express September Convoys

Last month, we hosted five GPE Convoys, we hope you enjoyed them! Let’s take a look back at where we travelled together:

Event Spotlight: GPE #129

A drive from Laredo to Corpus Christi, hauling energy through the heart of southern Texas.

September rolled in with a great Texan road trip, starting out in Laredo, right by the border and full of culture and San Agustin Plaza gave the place a lively vibe. From there, we headed northeast through South Texas passing by big open ranches and colourful wildflower fields that went on for miles. The convoy ended in Corpus Christi, right by the sea, with a nice breeze and the USS Lexington nearby. It was a great drive!

Event Spotlight: GPE #130

A journey from Varna to Pirdop, winding through the scenic roads of eastern Bulgaria.

This convoy took us across the heart of Bulgaria. We started our trip in Varna by the Black Sea. From there, we drove west, passing some nice towns and city sights. We finished in the quiet mountain town of Pirdop. It was a nice and easy drive with great views.

A journey from Oslo to Östersund on ETS2 ProMods TruckersMP, travelling through the stunning landscapes of Scandinavia.

This convoy took us from Oslo through some lovely Scandinavian countryside. We started our trip in the lively city of Oslo, then made our way through peaceful forests and quiet roads. The journey ended in Östersund, a quiet town with lovely scenery and beautiful landscapes. It was an enjoyable drive!

Event Spotlight: GPE #132

A trip from Valladolid to A Coruña, travelling through the heart of Spain’s northwest.

This convoy took us on a great drive across northern Spain. Starting in Valladolid, we travelled northwest through some towns and countryside. The convoy ended in A Coruña, a calm city by the sea. It was as easy as well as an enjoyable trip. Thanks to everyone who joined!

Event Spotlight: GPE #133

A journey from Brest to La Rochelle, crossing the scenic roads of western France.

We closed out September with a great convoy from Brest to La Rochelle. Starting in the coastal city of Brest, we travelled down through the beautiful roads of western France. Along the way, we passed some charming towns and peaceful countryside. The journey finished in La Rochelle. It was an enjoyable drive all around. A warm and memorable way to end the month. Thanks to everyone who took part!

Drivers Hub Updates (September)

We had a lot of updates for the Drivers Hub this month, so special thanks to our Development Team for all the hard work!

The following has been added:

• Added a "Monthly Events Attended" quota bar and requirement tracking, alongside the existing distance quota.
• Added an informational note and link to the activity requirements FAQ.
• Added a real-time online status indicator for VTC members, showing their current TruckersMP server.
• Added an animated route map visualisation for job routes, including mouse tooltips for timestamps.
• Added DBus statistics tracking and display to user profile pages.
• Added an input field for your DBus ID in settings, used to fetch and display DBus profile statistics.
• Added support for installing GPE Hub as a Progressive Web App (PWA) for a more app-like experience.
• Added support for installing GPE Hub as a Progressive Web App (PWA) for a more app-like experience, including installation guidance.

The following has been updated:

• Updated progress bar visuals and requirement card styling for better clarity.
• Updated member cards to include alt text for profile and flag images to improve accessibility.
• Updated card layout for better display of online status and profile information.
• Updated the job view layout to a two-column grid for detailed job information and route visualisation.
• Updated job stats styling, overflow handling, and job details display.
• Updated the job event timeline for better readability.
• Updated job ordering to display by stop time rather than start time on the jobs view page and recent jobs on the dashboard.
• Updated login session length to one week (you may need to log out and back in for the change to take effect).
• Updated the leaderboard to show all users with more than 0 km / 0 points.

The following has been fixed:

• Fixed an issue where manual jobs did not appear on user profiles or count towards the leaderboard.
• Fixed display and usability issues on mobile devices.
• Fixed access issues with Imgur links by replacing most affected URLs (the Event Calendar page is still affected).
