National First Responders Day is on October 28th every year to dedicated our First Responders. It honors the brave men and women who serve as first responders, including firefighters, paramedics, and police officers. First responders dedicate their lives to save lives. They are the people who run toward a crisis while the rest of the world flees. We pay tribute to their endless hours and around the clock service provided to their communities. As one of the most dangerous jobs in the country, the day also pays tribute to the fallen first responders. Our first responders go through physical and emotional damage every day. Many work more than 40+ hours a week and also go through different situations that they are not prepared for in the moment and have to jump into action. Our first responders see and hear things most of us never want to even imagine.

How To Show Appreciation To First Responders?

• Educate: - Participate in local workshop where it explains a life of a first responder.
• Supporting Organizations: You can contribute small donations to your local First responder charity or even join a charity run.
• Express Gratitude: Even just saying a simple "Thank you for your service" goes a long way. Just saying that makes our first responders proud for what they do.

This day is to remember the sacrifices our first responders do around the world to make sure we are all safe!
