Hey everyone. Lightray here. Today I’m going to tell the community a little more about myself. Actually, my VTC leadership and TMP managers already know this information, but there’s nothing secret about it that I wouldn’t be able to share with each of you. My real name is Vyacheslav (yes, it’s a Russian name, so I assume it might be hard to pronounce for those who aren’t familiar with the Russian language at all), and I’m from Moscow. In real life, I work at an electronics store and am also studying at a university through distance learning. In my free time, I love gaming, movies, and music (especially gothic and industrial metal, so if you listen to anything like that, I’d be happy if you shared tracks from that genre with me). I love bike rides and swimming. However, I’ve loved driving ever since I was born. It doesn’t matter what a car, a bus, or a truck. So it’s no surprise that I was really drawn to ETS2. Back then, it was still a pirated version on my old laptop. Later, in 2022, I came across a YouTube video with funny moments on the C-D road. After that, I was hooked. I registered an account on TMP, joined my first company, Prime Logistics, and grew as a player over time. Here, I made a bunch of great friends. Currently, I’m part of the TMP team as Event Team, because I won’t lie just love convoys. And for the same reason, I’m the event manager for my current WTC, Nørthern Express. As Toth said in his interview, much of our work happens behind the scenes: tickets, planning, and preparation for convoys, and so on.
As part of the TMP team, my work is more visible to the public. I block roads at interchanges to keep the convoy on track and ensure it moves smoothly, and I’ve personally leaded the convoy several times. It’s an unforgettable experience when you’re standing at a roadblock and hundreds and hundreds of players drive past you, or when you’re driving at 40 km/h and realize that there are 100+ people behind you and you’re the first in the convoy. It’s an indescribable feeling you have to be in my shoes to understand. I also do a lot of SSM/CC/EA/EM work. There are so many places that I can’t even list them all.
