Leading the fleet with an astonishing 102,689 kilometres covered, Eskom-014 not only topped the distance charts but also set the benchmark for consistency and efficiency. With 55 completed jobs across 22 active days, this driver demonstrated unmatched dedication and endurance, effectively carrying the fleet throughout the month.
Following in second place was GLACIERBOI93, who delivered a strong performance with 66,082 kilometres over 41 jobs and 20 active days. Known for consistency and reliability, GLACIERBOI93 maintained a solid presence throughout March, securing a well-earned runner-up position.
Mullah263 claimed third place with 50,979 kilometres, despite operating on fewer active days. This highlights a highly efficient driving style, focusing on longer, high-yield hauls rather than frequent short trips.
Flame LilY and CARLIN ZW rounded out the top five, with 43,397 km and 25,818 km respectively. Notably, CARLIN ZW stood out for consistency, logging 17 active days — one of the highest participation rates in the fleet — though with shorter average hauls.
Beyond distance, Eskom-014 also claimed the title of “Heaviest Hauler” for the month, completing a massive 80,000 kg special transport delivery of a locomotive from Oulu to Rovaniemi. This job not only showcased strength in logistics but also the capability to handle high-stakes cargo.
Across the fleet, patterns emerged that reflect a growing maturity within the team. Some drivers focused on consistency, showing up regularly and contributing steadily, while others optimized for efficiency by prioritizing long-distance deliveries. This balance of styles contributed to a strong overall performance for ZIMBO TRUCKERS in March.
As the fleet looks ahead to April, expectations are high. With Eskom-014 setting a formidable pace and other drivers closing the gap, competition is intensifying — and the roads are only getting busier.
One thing is certain: ZIMBO TRUCKERS is moving forward at full throttle.
