Safety & Compliance:

  • UBG drivers must comply with all Safety Administration++ regulations, including hours of service, vehicle inspections, and load securement.
  • Regular safety meetings and training sessions will be conducted to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Rule 2: Zero Tolerance for Impaired Driving:
  • UBG maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for drug and alcohol use while on duty.
  • Random drug and alcohol testing will be conducted in accordance with regulations.
• Rule 3: Comprehensive Vehicle Inspections:
  • Pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections are mandatory for all UBG vehicles.
  • Any defects or safety concerns must be reported immediately.
• Rule 4: Safe Driving Practices:
  • Drivers must adhere to posted speed limits, maintain safe following distances, and exercise caution in all driving conditions.
  • Distracted driving, including cell phone use (unless hands free and for business purposes), is strictly prohibited.

Operational Efficiency & Professionalism:

• Rule 5: On-Time Delivery & Communication:
  • UBG drivers are expected to maintain accurate delivery schedules and communicate any delays or issues to dispatch promptly.
  • Professional communication with customers and dispatch is required at all times.
• Rule 6: Proper Documentation & Reporting:
  • Accurate and timely completion of all required paperwork, including bills of lading, logs, and expense reports, is mandatory.
  • All accidents and incidents must be reported immediately.
• Rule 7: Vehicle Maintenance & Cleanliness:
  • Drivers are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their assigned vehicles, both inside and out.
  • Drivers must report any vehicle maintance issues immediately.
• Rule 8: Company Representation:
  • Drivers are representatives of UBG and must conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
  • Company uniform policies must be adhered to.
