We are aware that the World of Trucks event has been causing many players to crash when taking jobs from the Castle to Other Cities.
Our Developers are fully aware of this and there appears to be no direct solution for a fix as of this moment in time. Therefore, please be patient whilst our team review the issue and report back to World of Trucks with further information.
Firestorm: Thüringen Logistik wurde am 14. Novmber 2022 gegründet.
General Items
Arrive at the starting point at least 30 mins before the set time for the briefing on the route and destination of the convoy. Please be ready to depart on time with a tank full of fuel. If you are going to leave the group before the end of the trip, please tell a staff member. This is so that your YTC does not either, wait for you to catch up, or follow you.
Headlights
During daytime: Off During nighttime: Off Your lights on, enable you to see your fellow members and know who is with you. If someone pulls off the road in trouble they are easier to identify in the rear view mirror. Best of all it really looks cool.
Don’t Follow Too Close
When in a convoy keeping good distances is a must for safety as well as an act of kindness to the truck you are following. If we are traveling slowly, i.e. less than 35mph, bumper to bumper is not an issue BUT do not tailgate the truck in front at high speed. Your braking reaction plus your braking distance would increase. Keep a safe distance away!
Your Position In The Convoy
The company with the most representation will start and followed by the second most and so on. An Thüringen Logistik Rep will assign your place within the convoy.
The Speed Should Be Reasonable
The front door MAXIMUM SPEED will be 80 mph. Maintain a safe distance of no closer than 80m, this is to avoid any accidents due to any sudden stops and/or lag issues.
In Case Of Difficulties Or Problems
Please pull off to the side and catch up with the convoy if possible, the convoy will only stop for a small scheduled stop (if necessary).
Take iIt Easy
Sometimes not everything goes as planned. Participants in a convoy usually have pretty high expectations and are loaded with anticipation of the day’s events. It is important to stay focused on the trip at hand and be able to relax when things get hectic, people get lost, or traffic may throw you off schedule.
Overtaking
Overtake, only if the truck in front of you has an issue due to lag or due so in a safe manner. DO NOT overtake on double yellow lines, on bends or at any place where the road ahead of you is not clear. If you wish to overtake, please let the truck in front of you know before starting the passing on the left. Don’t close up the gap to the truck in front of you and force the truck being overtaking into a dangerous maneuver. As a general rule of the convoy, a designated place for you should have been assigned, please maintain that position, avoid overtaking members designated ahead of you (another VTC).
Traffic Lights/Stop Signs
We will be by-passing all weigh stations, traffic lights and stop signs, unless there is oncoming traffic. Do not panic if you get left at a set of lights.
Discord
This is a temporally invite to Thüringen Logistik Co. Open Event Channel. After the event has come to an end the channel will be closed until our next public event. Keep the chat to a minimum, so that everyone can hear any information the staff members need to relay to the convoy. Do Not - be abusive to anyone in the chat or voice channels, use excessive language or try to debate controversial topics and/or politics.
Do Not - talk over other participants of the convoy, be patient and wait your turn to speak.
