How to manage VTC Reactions & Comments

This is a guide to explain to you how to manage the reactions and comments of your VTC News Posts.

Note: Make sure that your role has the correct permissions to manage the roles and members of your VTC.

Adding & Deleting Custom Reactions

This part will explain how you can manage and delete custom reactions. You can currently add an unlimited amount of reactions.

Adding and deleting reaction

1. Menu Button

  • Open the News Post Panel of your VTC using the menu on the left of your VTC page.

2. Reactions

  • Once on the News menu, click on the Reactions button on the right. Button Screenshot

  • You should now see a list of all the reactions you have uploaded. If you have not yet uploaded anything, this list will be empty.

3. Creating a reaction

  • To add a new reaction, click on the + Reaction button on the right. Button Screenshot

  • A new box will appear, where you can upload an emoji. We recommend an image size of 32x32 and accept files until 512kb. You can additionally choose a name that can have a maximum of 16 characters.

  • Click on the Create Reaction button to add the reaction. Create reaction button

4. Deleting a reaction

  • To delete a reaction, simply click on the bin icon. Bin Icon

  • A warning will appear. To confirm, click on Delete Reaction. Delete reaction button

Deleting Reactions on VTC News Posts

This part will explain how you can delete reactions on VTC News Posts.

1. Menu Button

  • Open the News Post Panel of your VTC using the menu on the left of your VTC page.

2. View News Post

  • Go to the News Post you want to view and manage the reactions for by clicking on View. View Button

3. Manage News Reactions

  • Click on Manage News Reactions to view the reactions added to the news post. Manage news reactions

  • A new box will appear, where you can view all the reactions under a news post.

Overview remove reactions

  • You can click on Remove Reaction to remove a reaction. Remove Reaction Button

  • You can click on Remove all reactions to remove all reactions under a post. Remove All Reactions Button


Hiding Comments on VTC News Posts

This part will explain how you can hide comments on VTC News Posts.

  • To hide a comment on a VTC News Posts, simply click the Hide Comment button when at the end of the page.

Disabling Comments & Reactions

This part will explain how you can fully disable comments and reactions on VTC News Posts.

  • Click on Edit News when on an individual post.

  • After, scroll to to the button where you see Disable Reactions and Disable Comments. Either tick or untick one or both of these boxes to enable or disable reacting/commenting.

  • To save the changes, simply click on the Update it! button. Update Button

Reporting Reactions

This part will explain how you can report reactions on VTC News Posts.

If you wish to report a reaction, for example if it is breaking TruckersMP rules, you can click on the Report News Reactions button.

This will direct you to our feedback system. Under the category, choose Virtual Trucking Companies and provide a screenshot of the reaction as well as the link to the news post it is placed under. Community Management will then judge your report and take action if necessary.

Reporting Comments

This part will explain how you can report comments on VTC News Posts

If you wish to report a comment, for example if it is breaking TruckersMP rules, you can click on the Report comment button.

This will bring up another window, where you can choose between Harmful Speech, Sensitive Information, Safety & Privacy or Other. Please select the correct category. Our team will then judge your report and take action if necessary.
