Event Information
Hello all,
On August 10, Global Cargo will be 2 years. The past 2 years have really flown by, but we are definitely not done yet and are still working hard to offer new things to our drivers for even more fun (both in our own logging system and with mods and real life events). With a steady 170 active members last year, we are very satisfied. Growing is of course fun but certainly not our biggest goal - fun and friendliness always comes first.
To celebrate this we will not be driving on the usual 2nd Thursday of the month but on Saturday August 13 a big truckfest followed by a nice convoy from Strasbourg over the beautiful new roads in Austria that will surely give you a challenge to finish in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee.
Of course everybody is welcome on this beautiful day and the intention is to give away some nice prizes on the truckfest as well.
We recommend that you check that your truck is refuelled and undamaged before parking up.

Temporary rules
Approved by Event Management
Event Rules:
Participants must follow event staff instructions.
Overtaking is prohibited.
The use of a trailer is required.
Double and Triple trailers are prohibited. (Except for Event Staff)
Cars are prohibited (Except for Event Staff and TruckersMP staff).
Freeroaming is prohibited.
The use of beacons is prohibited. (Except for Event Staff)
Impersonating Event Staff is forbidden
Advertising of VTCs other than Global Cargo is not allowed
Event Staff can block junctions and roads approaching junctions in order to direct the convoy.
Event Staff overtaking the convoy cannot be performed by more than 2 members at a time.
Event Staff can drive the incorrect way where roads have a central reservation barrier ONLY. In accordance with the rule above.
Event Staff can park out of bounds. Providing this is on the ground and not on top of buildings or other inappropriate places deemed unsuitable by TruckersMP Staff.
All other TruckersMP rules apply.
