ProMods Europe is an excellent way to expand your trucking horizons on TruckersMP, with thousands of kilometres of extra roads, there is never a shortage of new locations to discover.

In this step-by-step guide, you will find everything you need to get set up and join the TruckersMP ProMods servers!

Important Notes:

• You must own all of the map DLCs listed here in order to play ProMods Europe

• If you have previously installed ProMods Europe for single-player, you are not required to take any additional steps, please ensure you have the latest version installed, otherwise, you will get an error message stating that modification files are missing when attempting to join our ProMods servers

• World Of Trucks jobs may not work correctly on ProMods, this is a limitation caused by the game in both single-player and on TruckersMP.

Step 1

Head over to https://www.promods.net and create an account, or log in to your account if you already own one.

Step 2

Navigate to https://www.promods.net/setup.php?game=ets. You will be asked to choose a language, followed by the creation of a “def” file.

Step 3

Choose your preferred download option for ProMods Europe. The paid (fast) option will allow you to download all of the files required in one archive, and at a higher speed than the free (slow) option. If you choose the slow option, you will have to download all of the files one by one.

Once your download is complete, be sure to extract the downloaded files from the archive. You can find more information about extracting files here.

Note: The optional Middle-East Add-On Pack and The Great Steppe Add-On Pack are currently supported and available on the TruckersMP ProMods servers if you choose to install them. The Trailer and Company Pack is not supported by TruckersMP.

Step 4

Once you have extracted all of the required ProMods files from the archive you downloaded, head to the mod folder in your Euro Truck Simulator 2 directory, and move all of the files into this folder. The directory is usually located in your Documents unless you specified otherwise in the launch options.

Note: Please do not put the files in the TruckersMP mod folder. You must use the mod folder of your main Euro Truck Simulator 2 directory as instructed above. Additionally do not change the name of any of the ProMods files, doing so will mean they will not be recognised by the TruckersMP launcher - this includes any numbers that may have been added to duplicate files, such as “(1)”.

Keep in mind that TruckersMP has its own custom mod manager, therefore as a result, you will not see ProMods in the normal Mod Manager in-game, when playing TruckersMP.

Step 5

Run the TruckersMP launcher, select the option to launch Euro Truck Simulator 2 and join a server with the ProMods icon. It may take some time to get past the loading screen - this is normal behaviour. Euro Truck Simulator 2 will also show you a "Missing modifications detected" warning. You must click on “Load Anyway” and ProMods will start correctly

Please remember that the redistribution of ProMods files is not allowed! This is software piracy and a criminal offence. Furthermore, it is against our TruckersMP rules.
