As we prepare to celebrate Viva Trucking’s 9-year anniversary, we do so with both immense pride and heartfelt emotion. This milestone brings with it a message we never imagined sharing, but one that reflects the deep thought, reflection, and love that’s always guided this journey.
Over the past few months, Viva’s leadership has taken time to reflect on where we are, where we’ve been, and where we’re headed. The VTC landscape has changed significantly. Player interest has shifted, TruckersMP activity has declined, and the systems that once defined this community have evolved. Fewer drivers are drawn to the structured, community-first experience that Viva has always championed.
As the VTC landscape has changed and our team’s lives continue to evolve, we’ve come to recognize that the kind of energy and vision Viva deserves is no longer something we can realistically sustain. Rather than let it slowly fade into something unrecognizable, we’re choosing to close this chapter with intention, pride, and the same heart that built it in the first place.
That is why, after nearly a decade of redefining what a VTC could be, Viva will be officially closing its doors following our final anniversary event on Sunday, August 10
This is not a decision made lightly. This is a controlled closeout, not because we ran out of time, resources, or direction, but because we’ve seen where the VTC space is heading, and we know when to stop. We believe it is better to end this journey with the same pride, care, and purpose that started it.
To say Viva made an impact is a significant understatement. Together, we built one of the most influential, respected, and innovative VTCs in the entire TruckSim community. We set the standard with our systems, technology, and culture, inspiring countless other VTCs. We brought structure to the VTC environment, welcomed thousands of drivers, introduced a new standard of professionalism, and built a space where people felt like they belonged.
But beyond the convoys and job logs, Viva was about people.
We laughed together. We learned together. We stayed up late talking about life, the VTC world, and the unique blend of cultures that made Viva so special. We supported each other through global events, personal struggles, and milestones none of us ever expected to share in a virtual space. Along the way, we grew, not just as drivers, but as people. We learned leadership, communication, patience, and empathy. And most importantly, we built friendships that transcended the game, connections that reached across borders and into real life. That’s the real legacy. That’s what no one can take away.
We believe the best way to honor this journey is with a final send-off, a celebration of everything we’ve built and everyone who made it possible.
Our farewell anniversary event is scheduled for Sunday, August 10 at 16:30 UTC. We’re calling on every member, past and present, to join us for one last convoy. Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or just joined recently, you are part of this story. While specific event details such as the meet-up location and route are still in the works, please RVSP via the link below. More event details to come out soon.

Following our final convoy, all of Viva’s official operations will come to a close. Our Trucky page, website, and other public platforms will be placed in a memorial state and the Discord server will remain open for those who wish to stay in touch, but Viva will no longer function as an active VTC.
From the bottom of our hearts, to everyone who has been part of this journey, thank you. You helped make Viva more than a name, you gave it meaning and brought it to life. Every application, every convoy, every voice chat, every memory, you all made Viva a special place. Because of you, Viva drivers weren't just the Kings of the Road, we were a family.
And now, we get to say goodbye on our terms, with joy, with love, and with the same heart that started it all.
We hope to see each and every one of you at our final event. Not just to say goodbye, but to celebrate the moments, memories, and milestones that brought us here Lets convoy together one last time, as the Kings of the Road.
With love and gratitude, Quad
