Drivers Convoy Updates

We are implementing changes to the running of our drivers convoys. We've listened to your feedback, suggestions and also added our own views and opinions into the situation.

Firstly, if you're a member of the public, let me introduce you to how our private convoys work. Every week, we host two private VTC convoys. As we span across both European Truck Simulator and American Truck Simulator, we want to give both teams equal opportunities to drive together as a company. While two convoys on one day may seem like too much to many, the limited availability of our staff mean that only one day per week can be set aside. This also builds up excitement and anticipation for this day of the week. Therefore, we try to host both of our convoys at different times of the day, so that all members, no matter their time zone, can join us at one of the events.

So what changes will we be implementing?

With the increase in trolling in the central Europe area, and another edition of Simulation 2 looking unlikely, we believe that our members should not have to pay in order to receive quiet, uninterrupted events. Therefore, we will not be moving our Drivers Convoys to DLC areas as suggested by figures outside of the VTC. Instead, we will be making use of both the Arcade server, and Convoy Mode, depending on the type of event and predicted turn outs. Driving rules will still apply such as: not driving through other users and keeping appropriate distance, but we hope that we will be able to provide enjoyable events without the interruption of trolls, as it's as frustrating for us, as it is you.

We hope that our team have taken note of the upcoming changes which will take place immediately, and we also wish to use this post to share our ideas to other members of TruckersMP in this position.
