Activity Leaderboard

Here are the latest internal update regarding out activity leaderboard.

The leaderboard undergoes** bi-daily updates**, with each update focusing on different facets of member engagement.

Firstly, the Trip/Convoy Update occurs following daily activity. This update evaluates members' activity records for the day, utilizing a simplified algorithm compared to the previous leaderboard iteration. Unlike before, this update solely considers the points accumulated on the current day, disregarding past activities and heat points.

Secondly, the Discord/Delivery Update takes place at 3 AM UTC every day. Points for the past 24 hours are awarded when members engage in specific actions: sending messages in the Discord server and completing deliveries tracked by DES job tracker. To prevent members from feeling overwhelmed by the need for constant activity, a cap of one point per day is set. This ensures that everyone meeting a certain activity threshold receives the full score without undue pressure to maintain an exceedingly high level of engagement.

Drive Evaluation System(DES)

In response to the recurring problem of Discord accounts disconnecting due to IP changes, a recent update, version 25 (v25), has been implemented to address this issue effectively. With the deployment of v25, users will no longer encounter the inconvenience of repeatedly reconnecting their Discord accounts. This update resolves the underlying issue by ensuring a more stable connection, eliminating the need for frequent reconnection attempts caused by IP changes. As a result, users can enjoy a seamless and uninterrupted driving experience without the hassle of constantly re-establishing their account connections.

Attendance Points System

Previously, our point allocation system awarded 1 point to members attending trips and completing alternative attendance missions, with additional DES bonuses granted based on driving skills assessed through the Drive Evaluation System. However, we recognized a disparity in rewarding members involved in event planning and execution, such as the event team and convoy control team, who contributed significantly to the success of our events but were unable to participate directly in driving activities.

To address this imbalance, we have revised our point system to ensure fairness and inclusivity. Now, all attending members will receive 1 point, with DES bonuses awarded based on individual driving performance (up to a maximum of 2 points). Moreover, special recognition is given to various support teams, including the event team, convoy control team, media team, lead, co-lead, event supervisors, and event managers, who play crucial roles in event coordination and management. These team members will be rewarded with 3 points to acknowledge their valuable contributions on the day of events.

Furthermore, to emphasize the importance of alternative attendance missions, participants completing these tasks will receive 0.9 points. This realignment aims to create a more equitable and balanced point distribution system that recognizes the diverse contributions of all members involved in our community activities.

Our General Manager, who is also an integral part of our developer team, oversees all updates and enhancements to ensure the seamless operation of our virtual trucking experience. This includes addressing minor bugs, implementing regular updates, and making continuous improvements internally. By closely monitoring the system and swiftly addressing any issues that arise, we strive to provide our members with a consistently enjoyable and reliable virtual trucking experience.
