Driver Training
To Give Driver a chance to Join Global Trucking , who have only just started playing ETS2 /ATS and removing the 50 hours gameplay requirement.
If you have over 50hrs Gameplay you do not need to worry about training.
If you have less than 50 hrs Gameplay , you will be required to do Training by one of our trainers.
Driver Training will include the following.
Basics of Driving
The Purpose of this training module is to teach a new driver how to control their truck and keep it on all four wheels. To also show what could happen if they lost control of their truck.
All Training Modules will be done on a scs convoy in singleplayer
With at least two other Driver Trainers to help with training.
The Trainee will be taught how to control their truck under certain speeds. So that they are taught to drive responsibly and safely for when they are on Truckersmp.
The Trainee will be driving with the Trainer. The trainer will teach them the basics and show them what to do in certain situations.
Certain Situations that could arrive could be public players overtaking and then pulling in front of the trainee and or the public player ramming into the side of the trainee.
Under those circumstances we would be looking to see how they would cope or adapt to these situations without losing their temper or using foul language in the discord.
If they pass this module they will move onto Training module 2
IE John Doe Has Passed Training Module 1 and has moved onto TM2
Estimated Time for Completion : 30 minutes
Training Module 2
Brief talk through and show of the job dispatcher and tab bar
The Purpose of this module is to show how the Job Dispatcher and Tab Bar work and will be shown by the Driver Trainer
There for this training module will be shown in discord via the share screen
If the trainee understands and then knows what to do then they pass this module.
Estimated time for this module : 5 minutes
Final Assessment
This is the Final Assessment for a Trainee Driver where the Driver Examiner will be behind the trainee Driver to Assess
If they have learnt the basics of driving their truck safely
The Final Assessment will be done on TMP under live conditions
On ETS2 the route will be set from Newcastle Upon Tyne to Aberdeen.
And on ATS the final Assessment will be from San Diego to San Francisco
If the Trainee finishes the route and completes it fully then they will pass and move to trial driver any mileage done on the final assessment will go towards their trial driver mileage.
