Hi all and goodevening.

Today was of course another Aurora convoy day and this time we drove in beautiful Spain! Cevil's favorite country, don't ask me how but it has to do with Mart Hoogkamer, youtube it xD

We start today in Albacete, After the arrival of the Arab conquerors in the 8th century, a new city was founded. It received the name البسيط (al-basīṭ) for the first time in a document in the 10th century. Al-Basit means in Arabic: the plain. In fact, the city is still called that, after the vast plateau at more than 650 meters above sea level on which the city is located.

Fun fact, but Braggo, we drove a convoy anyway

Oh yes of course! After we left Albacete we drove via Ciudad Real and Badajoz towards Salamanca.

There were certainly nice landscapes to see, but because our convoy was transported in the dark landscape, there was of course little to see.

We want to thank everyone for your participation and of course the fun and we look forward to seeing you again next time at our 35th edition, which will take place on May 5th!

We will then continue our way from Skopje to Vidin on the ProMods map.
