The journey started from Bucharest to Constanta, on Road to the Black Sea DLC. We take a short ride on the Sun's Highway, A2, from Bucharest to Constanta. Our target is to discover and learn about Petromidia Refinery, the largest romanian oil refinery and one of the largest in Eastern Europe, located in Navodari, Constanta.

Founded in 1975 as the Midia Navodari Petrochemical Factory, Romania signed with Iranian forces in the past to supply with crude oil. Being the only one on the Black Sea shore, thus having the advantage of being supplied directly through the Midia Oil Terminal located in the port of Midia capable of receving oil tankers up to 24.000 DWT(deadweight tonnage) or the 40km pipeline starting in the Port of Constanta. The refinery has an annual processing capacity of 4.8 millions tonnes per year and storage facilities for up to 400.000 meters cube of oil.
