At AKA Group, security comes first.
Before hitting the road, all our drivers must complete a comprehensive vehicle and trailer inspection to identify potential problems.
The key areas to examine are:
Checking that all lights, turn signals and reflectors are working properly.
There is no damage or excessive wear to the wheels, shoes and tires.
Ensuring that all external cargo is properly secured.
Checking for any fluid leaks, cracked hoses or loose components.
Checking the fan belts for proper tension.
Filling all fluid levels as required.
Testing all my gauges, instruments and onboard systems in the cabin such as GPS.
Checking that the brakes are engaged correctly.
Inspecting horn, windshield wipers and defrosters.
If problems are not detected through comprehensive inspections, malfunctions can lead to security risks.
Drivers must report any problems immediately and check them before setting off.
Let's make our journey with the rules before the safe journey!
