Un po' di storia della VOLVO TRUCK. Nel 1928 fu presentato il primo camion Volvo chiamato VOLVO TRUCK serie 1 che venne prodotto fino al 1930. Nel 1981 Volvo acquisì la White Trucks, iniziando a vendere i propri camion anche in America. Nel 1993 Volvo comincio a produrre i famosissimi FH Classic dai quali ne seguì una seconda versione, prodotta fino al 2012. Nel 2001 acquisì anche il marchio Renault Trucks, diventando il più grande produttore di autocarri europeo e il secondo produttore di autocarri al mondo. Nel 2013 Volvo presentò l'FH16, tutt'oggi in produzione e utilizzato a livello europeo in tantissime configurazioni.

Quest'anno la Logis 2.0 ha deciso di festeggiare i 96 anni della nascita della Volvo Trucks con un Convoglio pubblico che ci vedrà partire dalla Germania centro settentrionale, precisamente ad Hannover presso la ditta FCP, per arrivare fino alla fabbrica della VOLVO sita in Svezia a Goteborg. Ci troveremo in SIMULATION 2 il 14 aprile 2024 alle ore 21.00 UTC+2 con partenza per le 21:30.

A little history of the VOLVO TRUCK. In 1928 the first Volvo truck called VOLVO TRUCK series 1 was presented and was produced until 1930. In 1981 Volvo acquired White Trucks, starting to sell its trucks also in America. In 1993 Volvo began producing the very famous FH Classic which was followed by a second version, produced until 2012. In 2001 it also acquired the Renault Trucks brand, becoming the largest European truck manufacturer and the second largest truck manufacturer in the world. In 2013 Volvo presented the FH16, which is still in production and used across Europe in many configurations.

This year Logis 2.0 has decided to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the birth of Volvo Trucks with a public convoy that will see us leave from central northern Germany, precisely in Hannover at the FCP company , to get to the VOLVO factory located in Sweden in Gothenburg. We will be in SIMULATION 2 on April 14, 2024 at 21.00 UTC+2 with departure at 9.30pm.
