Hello all,

As you probably already know, Global Cargo is turning 6 years old on 10 August, and we'll be celebrating with the community a few days later.

After almost 6 years of running the VTC, it has become harder to come up with completely new features and improvements. However, that doesn't mean our development team has been sitting still. They continue to work hard on the website, fix bugs, and make things even better. Here are some of the things we've released over the years on our anniversary:

• 1st year: Our own division system with checklists, fully integrated into TrucksWeb.
• 2nd year: The mission system, where a new challenge is posted every two weeks.
• 3rd year: Unfortunately, our main feature wasn't ready in time due to real-life commitments from our developers and some technical issues we encountered.
• 4th year: Added Farming Simulator integration, connecting Farming Simulator with ETS2/ATS through our website.
• 5th year: Several quality-of-life improvements across the website, although there wasn't one major new feature.
• 6th year: Still to come...

I can already tell you that our development team has been working very hard on something for our 6th anniversary release. I'm pretty sure all our members are going to love this new thing. What it is? You'll have to wait until 10 August to find out! Our beta testers (donators) have already had a sneak peek, and I can tell you they were pleasantly surprised by what they've seen.

Besides that, both management and the development team are keeping a close eye on the upcoming Road Trip DLC (cars) and Coaches DLC (buses). Once they're released, we'll explore how we can integrate them into TrucksWeb.

So yes, even though things may seem a bit quiet at the moment, a lot is happening behind the scenes. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank our developers for their dedication over the past 6 years, as well as all our donators who help us cover the running costs of the VTC.
