We’re back with a new Stars that Shine post. This time, we’re featuring zGruener, our Event Manager / Human Resources. Let’s learn more about him and see what he has to share. Let’s get started!

Hey everyone, I'm Gruener, Zett Gruener, a chill guy from Switzerland with an Italian heart. I've been working in HR since May and I am now new to event management.

I have been interested in trucks since childhood, which is why I have owned ETS since around 2016 and have been on TMP since 2017. In 2024 & 2025, I obtained my real-life truck driving licence and have been driving around the Swiss countryside ever since. I joined Northern Express at the beginning of the year with the aim of sharing my enthusiasm for realistic driving and trucks with others. As I love realism and heavy machinery, I almost always drive heavy goods vehicles, and when the hazard lights are on and Hardtekk is running, I feel at home.

With my new position in event management, I will bring my personal strengths to the team so that we, as the NE event team, can organise VTC convoys where everyone will have fun and enjoy driving.

Everyone feels at home at NE because we are an international haulage company with a wide variety of people of all languages, ages and interests, and we have few rules.
