The decision came after an exceptionally close vote among company members. The final result showed 14 votes for Rotterdam and 13 votes for Amsterdam, making it one of the narrowest decisions in company history.
Rotterdam was chosen for its strategic position, strong industrial environment, and direct access to one of Europe’s most important logistics corridors. The city will now serve as the center for company management, convoy coordination, driver operations, and future expansion.
To preserve operations in the northern region, Amsterdam will remain active as a secondary office. This branch will operate with a limited capacity of up to 5 drivers and support regional transport activities where needed.
The relocation represents a key step in the company’s long-term development. With Rotterdam as the new central base, NextGear Logistics enters a new phase focused on growth, stronger operations, and expanded presence across Europe.
