Welcome to Old Iron Trucking! We were started in August of 2022, based out of Houston, Texas. Ever want to drive for a VTC (virtual trucking company)? We play American Truck Simulator. Are you a person that likes to play ATS, OIT is perfect for you! Even if you are a person that likes to have fun and hang out and drive. We drive when we can and have an awesome time. We are a drama and judgement-free group. We also log miles in single player and hosted convoy sessions. If in hosted convoy sessions, please drive within your lane and be respectful of other players. Discord is our main method of communication.

Rules

Old Iron Trucking Rules

Discord No random spam No hate speech No harassment of any type is tolerated No advertising other VTC's or Other communities Keep drama out of the public chats Follow Discord TOS No excessively loud or annoying noise in voice chat (otherwise you may be put on PTT if needed)

Convoy Rules Maintain a good following distance (100+ meters minimum, but 150-200 is recommended) In public convoys, drivers should not use the CB at all unless it's an emergency. This keeps comms open for directions from the convoy lead and allows managers to communicate with other VTC's Be early, refueled, and loaded so when the convoy starts we are all ready to roll out Have company colors on and have a matching company trailer, unless specified otherwise by management Be in discord to listen or give callouts to your fellow drivers.
