In summer 2020 we have reworked our Community Contributor program within TruckersMP. Many of the community have questions as to what this role is and how to become one.

What is a Community Contributor?

Essentially, Community Contributors are those members on our network who go further than we expect by creating quality content on our network. You can find more information about the current members of the program here. You can see them around our platforms with the green “Community Contributor” role.
All our Community Contributors are featured here: https://truckersmp.com/contributors

What are the requirements for being a Community Contributor?

  • Must have a genuine interest in the TruckersMP mod.
  • Contributors must behave and create content in compliance with our Terms of Service, Official Rules.
  • Contributor's content must have the potential to reach and influence the audience (in other words, contributors must produce quality content).
  • Contributors must have a genuine interest in helping us build a healthy community around our mod by sharing constructive feedback.
  • Contributors must be actively involved in at least 1 community oriented channel such as Forums, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, modding.
  • The contributor must be an active member of the community for at least 3 months
  • Contributors must have a good and positive standing within the community.
  • Contributors can not be a part of TruckersMP staff.

How can I become a Community Contributor?

There is no process to request to join the Community Contributor program. The only way to become a Community Contributor is through nominations or being noticed by the TruckersMP Community Management.

So, how do I nominate someone?

You can nominate someone (not yourself) on this Google form. Community Managers will then look into nominations periodically.
