Learn how to use the Bug Reporting System and avoid common reporting mistakes.

How to create a new Bug Report

  • To report a bug, head to our Bug Reporting System. Alternatively, click on “Guides & Support” and select “Bug Reporting System”.
  • Click “Create bug report”.

Next, you must enter all relevant information about the bug you want to report. These are divided into multiple categories.

Category: Where does the issue occur?

  • Game: Issues related to our Game Development team (e.g. problems with the Truck Delivery Dispatcher).
  • Website: Bugs on the official website, including error messages.
  • Forum: Issues experienced on the forum (e.g. permission problems).
  • Launcher: Issues that occur when opening the launcher before starting TruckersMP.
  • Add-On: Bugs in assets created by the Add-On team (e.g. Scout car or map edits).
  • Other: Use if none of the above apply.

Category

Title: A short summary of the issue. Provide a brief description of the issue. This does not have to be a full sentence. For example, if you want to report an issue when creating an event for your VTC, you can type “VTC event creation fails” or similar.

When entering a title, the system will suggest related Knowledge Base articles.

What you should NOT report

Some bugs cannot be resolved by TruckersMP. TruckersMP is a standalone third-party modification and is not officially affiliated with SCS Software (including World of Trucks, ProMods, etc).

Examples of issues not handled by TruckersMP:

  • Map issues on ProMods (e.g. hidden walls)
  • Map issues on the base map, including DLCs (areas without any map edits from TruckersMP)
  • Problems logging into World of Trucks (contact World of Trucks support here)

Some issues may seem like bugs but are actually user-specific issues. These should be handled by the Support team. You can contact them here, they will do their best to resolve the problem for you.

Contact our Support team instead of submitting a bug report if:

  • You do not receive a password reset or account activation email
  • You get a “Connection with Server has been broken” error
  • Launcher updates are stuck and or show an error
